to be honest that wasn't a surprise. Anurag after all is the male lead of the show. They have to find someway to keep him in the loop now that prerna is married to bajaj. However today episode foreshadowed anurag downfall in upcoming episodes.Yes! No one cares for ANurag and his stupid badla, if ekta thinks people do then she is stupid!

If Bajaj's company is public -- he needs to sell enough shares to give up equity. Something a man as shrewd as him WILL NEVER do. Let's say he does somehow gives up his shares enough for equity to pass to someone else. No deal would convince the other board members to give up THEIR equity in a company as profitable as Bajaj holdings for what? More money? EQUITY = MONEY. BUSINESS 101.
If Bajaj's company is private - AGAIN, he'll have to give up enough shares to lose control.

His bond with his baby and the way he was holding her and watching her and explaining stuff to Prerna. Those dialogues "I'm willing to let go of my vendetta for my daughter if my present isn't harmed" Coupled with him handing Basu Bari ki file to Prerna coupled with the whole loyalty thing? I think Bajaj will win this one in the end. Even if he doesn't, just want good Bajaj x Kuki/Sneha content.
