If Bajaj's company is public -- he needs to sell enough shares to give up equity. Something a man as shrewd as him WILL NEVER do. Let's say he does somehow gives up his shares enough for equity to pass to someone else. No deal would convince the other board members to give up THEIR equity in a company as profitable as Bajaj holdings for what? More money? EQUITY = MONEY. BUSINESS 101.
If Bajaj's company is private - AGAIN, he'll have to give up enough shares to lose control.
