Super Dirty is a big fat hit lol and Kangana has 2 big flops this year. What a year!

Gotta say the moment I learned kjo's protegee will be doing a kathak dance in Kalank, I knew the film would suck. LOL The 2nd warning was the series of generic posters and the equally generic, boring trailer in which the two leads had zero chemistry and zero credibility as period-relevant characters (a quality which they shared with the Bhansali-light sets). When "Ghar More Pardesiya" promo clip was released, in which the MVP of the film was basically forced to stand and pretend to admire Aloo's "kathak", it became obvious to everyone that kjo's "dream project" was as dishonest and vapid as his previous films, and a lot of people seemed to have given up on the film even before it premiered.

I was very disappointed with Madhuri Dixit not dancing in the song.. for so long I didn't have heart to watch Alia in that song. But finally when I watched... It was not even average. Sadly I didnt like Tabah ho gaye too due to the steps.

I didn't mind the steps, though from what Saroj Khan implied, the execution of the whole choreography had to be slowed down in order to accommodate the last-minute change of the pace of the song.

I did mind the awful editing of the sequence (the pointless crosscuts almost ruined Madhuri's performance + the director clearly had no idea how to showcase dance), and the soulless, vignette-like scenes didn't cohere into a story with satisfying dramatic tension and emotional truth. I guess that's what happens when a hack producer employs mediocre yes-people.

Alia's movies deserve to flop. 😆

Only Kalank and SOTY2 had huge trade expectations, baaki sab toh where not really expected to do big.

Manikarnika is at most an above average fair, it is not a clean hit, but it isn't a flop either.

Add Sahoo to the list. I am already calling it.

I dont think Madhuri would do Ghar More Pardesiya better than Alia i mean.....look at how Horrible Madhuri was in Tabah Ho Gaye.

We cant blame the choreographer, you gotta make it work with what you get

The moment I found out that Kalank was releasing a week before Avenger Endgame, I knew for a fact that it would flop. Endgame is the highest grossing film of all time. And not that Kalank was good content or acting wise either

The rest were expected.
