LOL. This is not particularly about Ranveer. Aamir takes years to get his role "right" too and Aamir is good friends with his wife, Twinkle. So do other famous and successful actors. Actors like Ranbir (Sanju), Rajkumar Rao for (Omerta), SRK (Fan), Aamir (Dangal), Sanjay Dutt (Agneepath), Ranveer (Khilji).

I will say however that certain roles require prep because of a certain physique, accent, body language, or just making the character believable takes time. So as someone said, everything isn't directed to Ranveer

I can imagine any other actor doing most of Akshay' s role without much difference. His most memorable role was honestly Phir Hera Pheri.

Lol Akshay is a good actor but it is evident he isn't trying these days and comes across as same in every movie. He should try method acting for a while for a change. I do not think highly of method acting but still it is what it is.

He doesn't take time to prepare for roles or complete shooting schedules but still doesn't have time time to do Hera Pheri 3. Guess he's just not iynterested.
