If it concerned him at all that Anu was following Pre why was he not keeping a closer eye on his biwi. He’s used to others doing his work for him so he was laid back enjoying his coffee. So when he sees Anu he comes to the wrong conclusions. He’s sneaky and underhanded and believes the same of Anu. Projection much?
