I also agree with the fact that Bobby still needs to go a long way before Minnie and he can end up together...

I think Minnie as of now needs to see different kinds of men. She needs to understand that men or people are just not black or white but shades of grey. And Mickey and Preet's relationship is a great way to show her some greyness... she was so sure the relationship would end, I would like to see Preet and Mickey fight and makeup... and their relationship actually working out...

But why does Minnie even needs to be in a relationship... Instead, I would love to see Babita and HS giving her wings... In the very first episode, they showed Minnie wanting to be travel photographer, wanting to travel the world... but then things happened and she gave up on her dreams and instead gave her mother's wings... I now want to see Babita returning the favour. I want HS and Babita to secure Minnie so much that she can actually travel the world or at least travel India...

Minnie's love story can start during her travels or when she returns. If it has to be Bobby, then he can meanwhile finish school and get a job and 'grow a spine' :) plenty of time...

But I think before any of that to happen, there is still so so so much to show. Both Minnie and Babita need to find the right balance in their personalities, find security and trust in their new relationships, and Minnie needs to follow her dreams...

Totally agree. They said this was just the beginning, and the way the characters have been written with so many layers gives them scope to explore many dimensions. I also agree that it's healthy for Minnie to see the entire spectrum instead of looking at things as black or white. She's a good kid at heart but needs a bit more encouragement and guidance. I also think the day she is confident that Babes is in good hands with HS, or some other guy, or even Babes herself. She will have to learn to let go of her mother a little bit, otherwise they both will be suffocated.

I want Minnie to start thinking about her future as well, but for now I understand that she wants things to be stable on the home front. She needs to learn that she cannot focus only on her Babes. Her mother will have to make some decisions and take her own steps - this will also be a great learning for Minnie.

I agree Minnie will eventually have to learn to let Babes go, but Babes still has a long way to go to learn to let Minnie go. It is a two-way street... They both have to learn to give one another space and make independent decisions. There is still much of learning for both of them.

As they said in the bites, this is just the first step. Minnie might accept Babes being in love with someone, but getting married, the concept of a step-father, these all feelings and adjusting to new dimensions will be challenging for her and will affect her.

Then there is Babita. She just found herself. She is still learning to make decisions and flying high. She needs time to be independent. Apart from her personal growth, the relationship between her and HS needs to grow too. They (the relationship) have to go through a lot of twists and turns too.

HS has been for both of them through thick and thin. I now want to see him in trouble and the duo standing up for him - being there for him. Be it him being ill or some troubles at work or anything... something. Both Babes and Minnie know that HS will be standing behind them no matter what, its time they tell him that no matter what he has a family standing beside him too.

@bold: Exactly! HS has been a pillar of support for Babes and Minnie on countless occasions. Now, it's time for them to let him know they've got his back too, that they're standing firm behind him when he needs them.

Yes, they are both financially independent, but they both need to learn to be emotionally independent too.

I agree that Babita still needs to grow more and that HS and she need to have their own experiences that are not necessarily based on existing circumstances. I would like to see some parenting related conflicts too because that would bring out their own perspectives on raising Minnie. Because no matter how in love they are, Minnie will be a big reason or consideration in their decision to live together as a family or not. They are still in the friendly tenant-landlord phase, and as Aniruddh said in one of the BTS videos, he has only climbed the first step to the barsaati.

@bold

Yes! I have been thinking that it's been almost a year since they moved into his house. Would Imarti's death anniversary come up? Would he honor her and their child's memory and be a total mess on that day?

Soon it will be time to focus on how these empowered ladies use their newfound strength to empower and help others, HS included.

@bold: I was thinking of the same thing! I really want this to actually happen in the show, so that they can acknowledge HS's struggles too.

I might also have a story based on this lying in my drafts, but I'm too scared to actually work on it, it would be heavily angsty 😅

For that matter, I would also love him to honor his mother's memory on her death anniversary if not Imarti's. The fact that he's started to reveal these things about himself is somewhat of an indicator.

I also want to see him have issues at work or maybe even career progress.

As for the bit you struck out, now you've just made me super curious to read it. Angst is beautiful.

Will be waiting for it! 😃

I want the story to focus on Hanita right now

Once they married I want the story then shifting to Minnie and helping her realize her dreams

Then a few small time leaps...begin Minnie’s love story with someone new, strong and bold to match Minnie’s strong personality

I want Mickie Minnie chapter closed in terms of romance

Bobby is sweet but he’s a childhood friend and should remain so.

On a side note: are Preet and Mickey dating secretly cause I don’t think either of their parents are this advanced/modern

Mickey might still like her but I personally don't think Mickey will ever be more than a friend to her. A best friend who will make her realize a lot of things...

My theory might not be a popular one but Minnie needs stability... she needs a guy who would stand by her no matter what... Yes, Mickey did stand by her but he moved on at the first reasonable opportunity... he didn't wait long enough... In his own words, ''she didn't give him a signal". On the other hand, there is Bobby. He never broke his friendship even when Preet had parted ways. He has never moved on... did not even look for any other reasonable opportunity. In my opinion, he knows that it will take time for Minnie to grasp the concept of love. He has been waiting since always...

In my opinion, if Minnie does ever fall in love, it should either be Bobby or a new character. Mickey is a great friend but he can never be more than that. He shouldn't be...

indeed you are right coz if there is going to be Mickey Minnie Love story than its going to mess things up

But I don't feel Bobby must be THE MAN for Minnie though coz he is always considered as a good friend for Minnie and is he that strong character for as a life partner for Minnie as she is such a strong girl

I guess they will show preet breaking up with Mickey because she will realise he still loves Mini. Because i don't see Mickey much into Preet.. this relationship seems a short termed one. Though I'm sure they won't show mini Mickey love story now. It shall be only friendship i guess

I think Mickey is too young to be in "love". Yes, there may be a lot of things that he likes about Minnie like her bravery to face the whole world, her immense love for Babes, her eagerness to help people etc. But at the same time there are a lot of things not to like as well. Her volatile anger, her impulsive actions, and her need to control everything and everyone in her life - they're all not good for any relationship.

Not to mention, there's no telling where this relationship will be in the long run. Mickey is highly intelligent with computers so he may end up in graphic designing, marketing or something in that field. Minnie's passion on the other hand, lies in photography. If she decides to pursue it, there's no way she's going to stay behind. She'll constantly be on the move and save for Babes and HS, I don't see her staying back for anyone.

Furthermore, she doesn't have a positive attitude towards love. So unless that changes, or she at least opens up to the idea of it, I don't see her getting involved with anyone. Given their struggles, we can predict the type of partner she would want but we have no idea what type of girl Mickey wants. Not to mention, if he'll be brave or strong enough to fight for her if the need arises.
