I loved it! 😍 We cannot compare it with the animated version. The CGI looked so good and real. I felt like I am a part of animal kingdom.
And that scene where mufasa dies I cried.
Alia is so funny and typical 🤣🤣

RES...
Could not watch last weekend, due to the unavailability of tickets at QFX.
Planning to watch this Friday...
Loved it
Even though I have watched the live Broadway show and the animation movie of the Lion King. This one was so realistically made that it kept me interested.
My kids loved it too. My daughter kept asking me how do they do it , did the animals really "act".
But overall, it was a well made, realistic but keeping the very essence of the Lion King.
Loved Pumba, Timone, even the Hyenas, Scar and Mufasa had an impact too. They could have a cut a couple of songs but I guess they went with the exact script of the Broadway show.
7/10
Honestly it was jarring. The animals looked too realistic n it was almost uncanny valley effect when they spoke English. Should HV gone Aslan from Narnia or recent jungle book remake way. The non lion characters were much better in case of this problem. Due to ultra realism the background looked dry dreary at times too. Also what they did to scar n be prepared, ughhhhh.
Not bad though, cz the story is so strong. But dissapinted tbh
Has anyone watched either of the South versions?
Going by some reviews, it seems like the Hindi version is better than the English one.
is the songs good in Hindi one? I went for English mainly cz the songs r so nostalgic,I remember all the lyrics,n also for James Earl Jones voice as mufasa.Has anyone watched either of the South versions?

Only heard The Circle of Life in Hindi which is called Zindagi Dor Si. It sounds weird, honestly speaking. I really wanted to go for the English one but dropped the idea once I read reviews saying that this version lacks the emotion of the original.
Was really looking forward to watching this Lion King but will just go back and watch the original.

There's no point watching a dubbed version if you can understand English.
