my suggestion is to start from his entry in the show...i love lots of scenes in that era also...higly underrated they were at that time bcoz majority of the audience were AP fans and hated RB for separating them. But now if u watch it, u will realize his concern for her. IMO, every scene of PRB would speak volumes over and above the dialogues spoken.

one e.g., I had posted this scene in the main forum thread too, don't know if u have read it already. after P1"s death, P slaps AB and leaves his house and is at her mom's place. RB then comes and meets her for the first time after the incident. I just love how he says "kaisi ho tum". the pain in his voice, the concern, the helplessness to comfort her was so evident in just 3 words.

@ bold: oh she was wicked to him...and he was so hurt! this scene and then when she was made to believe that RB and Geetakaki were the murderers of P1. She kept accusing of lot of things. And then would come and apologize saying that her dil is saaf and she can rant only to her closest FRIEND without thinking of the consequences

@bold: he would melt literally at one positive vibe from her. and he had to literally live with the hope of next to impossible future at that time and yet keep giving her more than she ever wished for. rightly she addresses this point in the bday card of the consummation scene.

But I give it to P to lick all his wounds more than fair and square once she made up her mind and heart both.

Okie I will start watching. U r right ! At that I was AP fan so didn't enjoy PRB's first marraige but now will start watching. At that time she didn't like him right?

She didn't like him,,,but still respected him. Which I appreciated. Very nicely written story and everything it was.

I don't remember much of that time. I was a butt hurt AP fan at that time 😆After Pre married Bajaj and seeing my poor Awwnu, I stopped watching the show and cursed Bajaj. I started watching again after Vishaka falls in love with Anu!

I never knew I was going to become a die hard Bajaj and PRB fan after the 8 year leap! It was not accepting the baby,which was the final straw for me! After that I never wanted Anurag anywhere near Prerna!

I m so glad he didn't stop her....and how I wished that RB would have heard the full thing instead...all his years of wait would have culminated in that moment of revelation. I so wanted to see RB's reaction and know what he might have said.

But then, we wouldn't have got the Family Friend epi and some more of those.
