Khushi hasn't seen much pain in life unlike Arnav. She will slowly get stronger when she understand the realities of Arnav's life. She has been living in a happy family save for Anju's handicap and Garima's cribbing about Shashi's principles. She hasn't lived a life where she has been betrayed.

The job that she got at Kapoors fell into her lap because of her academic pursuits and because of Shashi's old job with Kapoors. As soon as she joined, she met the Golden Boy Akash the perfect partner any girl would wish for.

No wonder she is not well versed to the ways of world.

It is only after meeting people. like Shyam and Aman that she has started to realise the reality of life
