This think in one of her insta Q&As she had said her Mom is a Kapoor and that’s why she added it to her name.

I’m not sure how her family is rich but they are very very rich. Her parents could have launched her like they did her sister but that movie flopped. Her sister’s second movie was a supporting role in that Shahid/Shraddha movie. Who knows if she’ll even bounce back? So this time her parents are doing what every other industry parent is doing, asking nepotism king to launch their kid.

So far her claim to fame has been that she’s Alia’s BFF. It would be interesting to see where this takes her and if she’ll be able to establish herself as something other than Alia’s BFF.

Ranjans are producers like Ekta , they also run a TV magazine called Gr88. Also, they also run one of the award shows...Gr8 Indian TV Awards (??). There are 2 awards called ITA, so m not sure which one exactly, but they own the one that does these 'Beti' ramp walks every year. They have an NGO called 'Beti'.

The duo has been producing TV shows for a while now.
