I am trying to understand guys did Deepika's depression saga increase her brand value or did it make no impact on it?

It was the sex outside of marriage comment & then whole showcasing a poster of XXX 3 and not confirming it for a few months that kinda turned me off. Alot of that is Nautanki ism

It did make her more human/relatable. So yes.

Her PR may have played it to her advantage but I don't think she faked it or anything.

I think her PR used it to market her. It was real but she used it to increase her brand value & I think it worked (many people found it useful & appreciated her opening up). Other people have talked about seeing therapists for their mental health- HR & Aamir for example. But their PR did not use those to market them.
