Some on Twitter r just venting frustration cz she's working with rk though.which should not be a concern here. Working with ex is not comparable to being buddy buddy with n working with sexual harassment accused. People need to keep both separate

I think whoever is incharge of this movie's pr was way overconfident that no one will remember Luv's metoo accusations since DDPD and Super 30 worked that they'll let paps click the pics first without issuing a statement clearing luv's name to create buzz among fans,neutrals so they can bombard media with pr pieces. Both Dp and RK have a lot of shipper fans so this is a good way to get them excited for the official announcement... No one envisioned the backlash and outrage. This actually is a big pr mess... They should have issued a statement stating that he got cleared of all charges after an internal investigation like how it was handled in Vikas case before this pap photo op. Luv's accuser was anonymous unlike Vikas's and did not want to come forward with her accusations so it would have been way easier to spin his accusation. Atleast that way everyone involved could say that he got cleared of charges before they agreed to work with him.

Why not. She is a top actress and their combination is a hit one. I've realized most BW actors want nothing but big box office numbers. His personal equation with her be damned. He's working for success.

This! She’s the top actress in Bollywood, she has to be drowning in film offers. Any thought that she’s considering this role because this is all that she’s getting is pure bull.

IMO, it doesn’t even matter if she hasn’t signed the film yet. Anyone with half a brain would know that you don’t need to “test the waters” for signing a film with a guy like Luv Ranjan when you run a mental health charity. She really has to be super daft to think she could try a move like this.

I don't think he wanted her in the movie. Like blinds said it must be producer's choice over here. That's why he looked miffed by it.

Unlike Sajid Khan and Vikas where the allegations seemed genuine and authenticated by many ...it's not the same with Luv...in case of Luv it was an unidentified Twitter post and nothing else...I mean he could totally have done what he is being accused of but what's the guarantee the one who wrote the post wasn't trying to settle some personal score??... Did anything else also come out other than that one post?

He doesn't have a problem working with her on ads. Why would he mind a movie? It's all his drama.

He doesn't have too many options among actresses. Deepika is a good choice.
