Haha but I am serious Moni my mom isn't educated so she won't go into deep character analysis and she is seeing him from past 10 months now, so she is used to all his sides like UK said playing with his character isn't happening for the first time and unlike in previous track where he keeps on hurting Pre here within seconds showed how he himself is shocked that he slapped her and was apologising and hurting himself for that so she will be like he did in spur of the moment and apologising they know he isn't like this. And like RS said these things happens with real life couples too 😆

For me the problem here is more about how anurag has been promoted by star plus and balaji and idolised by some fans rather than in the character himself. Anurag is not this perfect selfless being. He is a normal guy who has lost his temper, made mistakes, been boring on many an occasion, not known how to use a phone camera to collect evidence 😂, not appreciated that he needed to break up with Prerna in private etc. He has also be fiercely loyal to his family and close friends, caring and respectful to people less privileged than him, conscious of differences and tender to his less loved older sister, loving to his mother and father, honest about his boring traits. Basically anurag is a normal guy with lots of good but also some greys and mistakes in him.

Just as they did in the Kom track (with Prerna), CVS are showing anurag to not have any memory of the past relationship and conversations and love and loyalty shown by Prerna. But he is a hurt and tortured guy right now and has made a mistake by hitting out at his love. This is a mistake - without question. Bad move.

However, this is a writing-off of the character only if either you are just an anurag/parth fan who like star plus thought he walked on water and was perfect or you can’t wait for anurag to be written off so that Prerna can start a relationship with someone new.

I personally find all the reactions to the bachcha being shown to slap Prerna slightly amusing because from the start of this series people have loved to point out any fault in Prerna and ridiculed her as being growth-less, not interesting, flighty, impulsive, brainless. Though maybe nowadays anupre fans say the same things but with affection.

The reality is that anurag and Prerna are both a young couple with lots of good things about them and some not so good things - as we all are. And the good stuff doesn’t make them saints and the bad stuff doesn’t make them devils either.

Anurag made a mistake. He will hopefully be forgiven if he make up for it through future acts. That is life.

First of all, it isn't possible. I think it's Pre's dream because of guilt.

Secondly, if he actually slapped Prerna, then he is wrong . We can't justify saying Pre slapped him so he can also slap Her. Two wrongs cannot make it right.

Thirdly, assuming the slap is true, then it doesn't go with Anurag's character. He can never slap Prerna. Never. But knowing EK's fascination for grey characters, it may be possible.

Fourth, I actually did not want to discuss about this before watching the epi, coz we all kzk promos are so misleading and I did not want to blame Anurag for something which he didn't do. But since someone started the topic regarding the slap, I couldn't control from expressing my views.

they show only good things in dreams and flashbacks - this isn’t something good so definitely this is indeed gonna happen in reality! 😵

And I agree - two wrongs don’t correct the errors and what’s wrong will be wrong even if the situation was bad which resulted that crap but what we here are trying to say is - if we see it from a feminist perspective then if Prerna’s slap was justified ( it was justifiable actually) then Anurag’s slap is also justified, to an extent. Here don’t look for equality from any other perspective but just from the perspective of two lovers - if Pre slapped Anurag because she was wronged and faced dejection then Anurag is also going through the same things and we didn’t expect Anurag to slap Pre ever - but here the Anurag isn’t the same Anurag, the rational Anurag who was judged on different parameter always. Also, such acts are considered grotesque from a general perspective - like, it’s different for an individual in a society who goes on slapping spree or a husband who abuses his wife to show his domination or a man who abuses his GF to show his superiority in the relationship but if we see from a perspective of a love story and about two equal lovers...

And even after saying this all - my heart hurts when I see him doing all the atrocious stuff 🤔
