He tripped over, their fingers brushed as he could hear the uncomfortably loud splash. His heart froze to death.

Mist, haze and those memories locked well into the sands of time came flooding back. Splashes after splashes could be heard, as he stood completely transfixed, unable to process the happenings yet.

"Bachaaaoo!", he heard. It was getting painful and gloomy. Vulnerability written all over the face and nerves feeling numb, he staggered backwards. He wanted to keep a straight face to mask his expression but he was too worried do that.

His fingers were burning. He couldn't catch those delicate hands. He never could balance himself and grip the other.

He never would, it seemed. He had failed, yet again.

Looking downwards into the rumbling dark blue waves spun his head. It hurted. It hit him where it was injured the most. The heart. And the murkiness wouldn't help.
