I think in her way she is trying to spare A for two reasons. First, she thinks its better that he hates her than know the truth which we all know he will eventually come to know but for now it does the job.

Second, if A believes that P did this to save him and still loves him, there is no way he is going to leave her alone. Then, I don’t think there is any force on this planet that will stop RB from destroying him. Interested in her or not but that is between husband and wife. P is RB’s wife and RB protects what is his.

But he is not moving on. He is here to stay. A had FB of his convo with B just before the precap.

The only good thing is we get to see some scenes of PRB just to show A. But the bad thing is we have to bear A in those scenes, when we only want scenes of PRB.
