The distance by which Guptill made New Zealand reach finals was exactly the distance Guptill couldn't cover to get the trophy. Cricket is unbelievable.

Guptil run out costed him the same as dhoni run out did to india.

When i told that someone predicted that england will win world cup before india vs england match....people said england is bakwas team but i guess the team did proved itself. They havent tasted the finals from ages even and today are the world champions.......wellllllll playedddd.

Agar vo overthrow nahi hota NZ would have won by 2/3 runs . And to be worst that overthrow came after hitting Ben stokes.

Bit liking the rules of ICC. May be that's why this sports is not followed by most of European countries . NZ win by taking most no of wickets but here ENG won the WC by scoring more boundaries . Ofcourse boundaries could have been scored by top edging over the WC or inside edge. Pathetic rules.

Waise i want to confirm something. Many people on twitter said that the ball on which dhoni was out was actually dead ball as more number of people were inside or outside in fielding in the powerplay and the umpire dint noticed. Is this true ?

I feel putting a 4 or 6 is difficult as compared to runs, so i personally do feel that boundaries deciding the winner if everything else is getting tied is not a wrong as such. Moreover england league table mein bhi aage tha....agar boundaries na decide karte aur league table par position karta.....tab bhi england hi jeeta hota. They do deserve their win.....they have played awesome in four back to back innings. And i do feel i would have said the same if india had lost a match on this basis as well. But i am glad it wasnt india...heart aches would have been much more in indian case.

Agar India aise match harta toh I would have been heartbroken but in still not feeling good for NZ. They are deserving champions. Vaise bhi vo last ball from Boitk acchi thi sixer toh Abhi ghalta 1-2 runs se match jarur Jeet jate.

But I like I said these rules from ICC are pathetic. Team which takes most no of wickets should have won the match .
