Over are the days when people will watch crappy films just to see stars but this doesn't mean that all good films will do well or all films that do well are good. People still like mindless comedies, action and masala films, that is why films like Total Dhamaal, Sonu ke titties and Baaghi work. So we can say content is the king in this new age of Bollywood but the said content may not necessarily be good, it just have to be entertaining (sometimes mind numbingly dumb) enough to attract audience.

Shahid's ATBB recently, RKR , Aayushman and Kartik giving 100 cr movie...just proves that stardom is no more going to make movies a hit...any movie that clicks with the audience will be a hit...so I would say not content but connecting with the audience.

Unfortunately it's not over. Someone else will rule. Khans yeh khans woh. Aisa kuch nahi hai. Good movies of course work. But public will have their favorite. Every generation has.

If AB Sr can be replaced. Khans are no biggie.
