They’re all stars, baby! Stars of such glittering magnitude that they will appear on Dubai’s Walk of Fame.

Martial arts movie star Jackie Chan, wrestler turned action hero The Rock, Korean boyband BTS and Bollywood superstar Ranveer Singh have all been promised a place on the Hollywood-style star carpet.

When complete, the attraction in Downtown Dubai will feature more than 400 stars and eventually celebrate 10,000 famous people from around the world – four times bigger than the legendary Walk of Fame in Hollywood.

Following its launch announcement in March 2019, voting opened for the first 400 famous names who will appear on the stellar walkway. Nominations closed at the end of May 2019and celebrities from the worlds of music, film, art, architecture, sports, literature, social media influence, innovation and social work are now receiving their accolades.

Argentinian footballer Lionel Messi and Indian cricketer MS Dhoni have also earned their places on the star walk.
