The CVS are trying to make us think that the Mudga track and Moksh's custody track is interrelated. But it's not. Moksh's custody track has always been about Kalyani vs. Sampada to see who's the better mother. And the stage is being set for that only. Sampada is determined to prove that Kalyani is crazy in front of Malhar, and unfortunately he believes Sampada cause he knows what Kalyani can do for Moksh. That's why he's also working so hard to get back Moksh, so that Kalyani can calm down and focus on her life. The Mudga track will be stretched out for a long time because the production house really likes Shagun and wants to keep the Athrava track going for a while. He won't end up in jail that quickly.
