I love how instead of addressing issues like mental health (things that even people like Sabyasachi have tried to address this weekend), the CVs are busy showing us a whodunit story. I guess expecting a woke track from CVs on indian television is out of the question. I mean you have TV stars writing open letters about how their reach is much wider and covers a large part of the Indian audience compared to filmstars; so why not use that reach to talk about mental health. Or is that only there when the Editor in chief of filmfare shames one of theirs as being lesser compared to the likes of Sonam, Ash and Deepika. The same Deepika who spoke about mental health and started her foundation.

But wait, why would Rangu or BT do that and get a conversation going; they had rather their hero be shamed for being a drunk and then say the country is not ready for different stories. However, BT your boss does give interviews about how you guys were woke even back when Kyunki was on air all those years ago when the millennials were kids.

I know right!....and we didn't sign up for a murder mystery here...we signed up for a romance story with murder mystery in it.... I mean think about it, do we love just thriller and horror genres more or Romantic thrillers and paranormal romances? The answer is the later for me...I get bored with just normal humans romance stories with typical daily soap contents....but I basically love romances that have crime or thrill or paranormal elements....So romance needs to be the base element of plot...even in all the mysteries and haunting and danger and pain and death the romance should be an undercurrent throughout the whole plot....read any good Romantic thrillers and paranormal romance or gothic romance novel and u will know what I mean....

And this was what was promised too...they said underneath it all it's basically a love story...and that is what TRP viewers in India need.... Naagin series won't be such hit if in every season naagin didn't fall in love with a supposed enemy she is to hate....but they forgot what they are supposed to do...So they need to keep the romance prominent... mopping around for Bani and remembering her is not enough since she is dead...look how much we love those few sweet Praghbir scenes we get....they need to balance Praghbir chemistry and thriller element properly if they want more TRP.....and like u said hero ko apni hi story mein side kar dia....iss show mein PVP is the most popular actor, RM k dum pe chal raha hai show...so he should be center of story not side....0.9-1.0 is not enough, cvs need to focus and up their game...

Guys please PLEASE PLEASE can we try and write in a language that everyone is comfortable reading or responding in. I have no issue with people speaking in Hindi; it is your national language so you can speak/write it. However, when I am in a hurry and wanting to carry on a conversation then I cannot be translating the Hindi into English in my head and then translating what i want to say back into Hindi so I can type it. Therefore, i tend to leave the conversation and move away from the AT. Therefore I request people to please please think of everyone.

P.S. writing song lyrics or certain words is different but come on guys please be considerate. There are people from the diaspora who also watch this show.

I signed up to watch PVP, hoping that it would be more like Kasam s1 and less like ishq mein marjawan. I really do not like thrillers all that much. I am quite happy watching a family drama. I mean I am a part of the Indian diaspora. Gotta live up to the stereotype that I only watch KJo and YRF movies!!! I mean come on we are the people that are used to mock KJo, saying he only makes movies for us. Star Plus would not be such a hit outside India if we did not live up to our stereotype. I mean SPA created the international favourite sadasya and international favourite jodi award for us.Sorry Urmi, but TRP viewers aint watching murder mysteries or thrillers. They want jodis hoping to come together or leads struggling to improve their lives.

However, if the CVs want to show RM drunk, then they could act more woke and talk about issues around drinking. There are many people in India in the small tier towns that will have people who drink or who are depressed. make it a conversation. Like i said before, EK has said she has been woke since the days of Kyunki when she sent Ba from Kyunki to study in Europe. And Rangu has always acted so woke with stories like Ballika Vadhu, Na aana iss dess laado and Udaan. So why not now? Why not talk about depression, post traumatic stress disorder and the trauma of losing a loved one?

Yes, PVP is the most famous person in that cast and they need to use his fame wisely. As I said, they have the chance to make an amazing show. Or do they want it to flop so they can say "oh indian viewers do not like anything different on TV"

Also there are people from the South whose Hindi might not be that good too. And to be honest Hindi is just the official language along with English to be used for communication in Parliament purposes 😅; I think India is the only country in the world that lacks a national language. I don't mean to offend anybody here.

Oh i did not know that. I thought most people in India knew Hindi. I mean when I visited as a child, everyone could speak Hindi. Then again I have not been to many places in South India or East India. I have only been to Mumbai, Goa, Gujarat, Punjab, NCR.

I feel like other fandoms love their hero more. It is so heartbreaking to see. It makes me feel disloyal for crushing on #Jahanpanahsooooooooohot.

Ok see thing is for those of us not south Indian or from abroad hindi comes more naturally than english while speaking what our hearts feel and ranting or when we feel emotional about something....Now mostly we try to write in English only since many have problem communicating in hindi.. atleast I know I do....but sometimes I slip... somethings I just can't help expressing in hindi...I mostly try to limit those slips to Sana's post replies...but I get what u 2 are saying...will try to control myself more...😋

Sending social message won't make a drunk hero an ok thing....I mean u know what the stereotype is...he can be jerk, can be stupid, can be an absolute angel, can be anything...but he has to be what the word "hero" means to us....he will always be lead male no matter what and they make him do will ever sideline him or spoil his hero of story image....and the moment that happens we have seen shows where new character entered and became lead and previous lead became side...or died....so keeping RM drunk is NOT an option...

And I m not actually disagreeing with u here...yes just thriller don't work here and family dramas do....but a Romantic thriller is a romance too and would work very well if executed properly....I mean what exactly is happening in BP that doesn't in any family drama? families do conspire, they kill, heroes do loose wives sometimes and marry second time, heroine always solves everything alone... it's all there...they just need to put more effort and execute this properly.... handle RM properly to be specific and we can be good...this has great material.... their are hit old movies in Bollywood with materials like this....they just need to present things better....
