Most versatile actors/actresses

I was wondering about which Bollywood actors have the best kinda range and can play many different kinda characters ( I mean distinctively different) very convincingly. I’m especially concentrating on the current lot, as I can definitely think of a lot of veteran actors who are very versatile. But from the current lot I think it’s quite a few actors like Ranveer and Vicky have shown quite a varied range in their acting. The rest do stuff that works for them or are typecasted to some extent.

Now coming to the actresses, now that’s where it gets very tricky I can only think of Vidya Balan or Rani Mukherjee( but they’re both not so current ones) okay maybe Alia to some extent but even she is limited as proven by Kalank. They’re not many versatile actresses in Bollywood currently. I’d like to know if you guys can think of other names.

Manoj Bajpayee, Urmila.. that's all I can think of but they're not from present times..

Priyanka has won every acting category at Filmfare

She’s done a variety of different roles, definitely one of the most versatile.

Urmila...

She is really versatile but remained underappreciated. Her commercial films didnt score as much as her off beat films did..

Rest they r all good n have done all sort of roles but for some reason Urmila stood out for me..what a sad end to a great talent

Among the Actors:

Shahid, Ranveer, Rajkumar Rao

Amir has to be the most versatile actor(taking his name becoz he is still relevant and I don’t find anyone more verasatile than him from the current gen).Ranbir n Ranveer are good too but they go OTT in comedy.

Amongst actresses no one.Comedy is one genre where actresses still falter.Sridevi was the last actress who I feel excelled in all fields.None of the current actresses are versatile.

Kajol is one versatile actress.

Be it her role in Gupt,or in Dushman,or some out and out Bollywood film like DDLJ,she just nailed it all.

Sridevi was the most versatile actor we had. She could do anything convincingly.
