well for me...the success is due to the gorgeous couple mohit-tina as akarsh-jhanvi

well i feel there might be a S2 coming up for it that might revolves around akarshvi daughter n its her story or it could be akarsh-jhanvi separated due to a reason n jhanvi doesn't want akarsh n his dark world around her n it might revolve in that track...the show is a success of its own...the channel might cash in the popularity of the show n EK might come with a S2

Kawach 1 trps were not like sky rocket like Naagain Franschise but she came with a S2 of the show of course a different cast which is million time better since i am watching the show myself...maybe she might come with S2 with Daayan either same cast(i mean only mohit-tina as leads with a whole new supporting cast like a leap) or a different cast something on the lines of N3

come on guys if u are talking abt off screen issues n they will not work again than they should not be working together in this show itself...either one could have quit or BDs are being used but no like professionals they do their scenes together with distance n silence b/w them that can be felt on-screen itself still weave the magic in their chemistry...they set the screens on fire...if the can do in this one...they can do in S2 too with the same magic...

S1 is more abt jhanvi in search of daayan n find out her husband himself is the son of daayan n it revolce around more on asha-jhanvi battle...in S2 how dark force separated akarsh-jhanvi from each other and jhanvi doesn't want akarsh around her n she leaves him n goes for a short leap n they meet after years n it can revolve around their love story again with dark force yet again hovering them

I guess they both were committed to the show and bound by contract. They are mature enough to know that the show is not solely theirs, there are many people working for the show and they very maturely did the show without creating any problems for anyone around them, or throwing tantrums.

Also even if no offscreen issue happened, Ekta has made sequels of her supernatural shows but never repeated the pair. In fact the story also is entirely different.

Also if Daayan is remade, i think the only thing which is going to stay would be daayan, the cast most likely will be new if Ekta's previous supernatural show sequels are seen, and the leads will also be new most probably. That is how Ekta has made sequels, be it naagin sequel or Kawach sequel (In fact Naagin S1, Arjun and Moani's pair was loved by people, yet next season they didn't pair them together. Well people did have difficulty in accepting Mouni opposite Karan may be because the Arjun-Mouni pair was still fresh in people's mind, so next season the entirely changed the caste, even the leads to Pearl and Surbhi) and the season 2 did fine but nothing as good as S1 or S3 in terms of TRPs. I doubt they will take risk of keeping only one of them in the sequel, because audience gets attached to the pair. Especially, Mohit Tinaa have their own different kind of chemistry, people watched the show mainly for them rather than the Daayan or Satrupa track. They have those ways of communicating through their eyes in acting that they look amazing onscreen even without any intimacy or anything, even better than most of the onscreen couples who have a ton of intimate scenes. They won't keep just one.

Them working together again is upto them. But mostly in such sequels Ekta brings new leads (both male and female).

Daayan was definitely a different show as compared to other daily soap drama type shows. But it was not as good that people want to wait to watch it every weekend for the story. The main hook point of the show was the leading pair chemistry. And that is what attracts people to watch the show regularly, Mohit and Tinaa looked fresh as an onscreen pair. They complemented each other beautifully onscreen, they are not just good looking but such wonderful performers too, but the makers didn't focus on them as they should on a lead pair. May be if they had focused little more on them. People who didn't know Mohit and Tinaa as actors, also watched them and saw them. There were a lot of vms also from various editors on youtube and instagram. There is really some different charm of these two onscreen, the makers should have used it for the show rather than making it typical dailysoap with bechara beta and bahu saas rivalry, and the satrups angle where satrupa looks totally mad and obbsessed now. They have been stretching her track too. Had they focused a little more on the lead couple, they could have done wonders for the andtv channel too. The show had become monotonous, Jhanvi every day in hospital or running after daayan, then Viraj track, and then making the righteous strong AKarsh as typical bechara son who is unwillingly doing things for his mom. Jhanvi a typical crying leading lady.

Daayan inspite of being a different show, but still the main highlight of the show was and such fresh chemistry of leads.

Naagin season 3, I have heard had baseless story with no sense at all, but it had a hook point for people that was the lead pair which made people watch the show regularly.

The main problem of Daayan show was the channel also. The channel has very poor audience reach for this genre, mostly it has audience who watch comedy shows like Bhabhiji and so. There were many twists, like the male lead revealed to be daayan, Female lead died which could have raised the trps. Ultimately the thing which matters to Ekta on TV shows is trps.

Also they didn't channelize the lead pair chemistry to the full. The show is ending yet the people don't know major part of the lead pair story. The show started with their love story in middle(I think they had planned to show a little bit of AKarshvi past, the way they emphasised on Jhanvi telling about her past with Akarsh to Tanya, but then in new twists and turns, they just left their story behind). Akarsh was already so madly and deeply in love with Jhanvi from the first episode itself but nothing mentioned how and why he fell in love with Jhanvi(They just mentioned he was bowled over by her beauty but his love for Jhanvi was way more deeper). If they added a little elements of their school life, may be it would have added more flavours to the story. The scenes could have been shown in same way they are showing now a days, without much intimacy, just that much which makes both actors comfortable to shoot with each other. The scenes are coming out really beautiful just because of them performing it.

@The _Trendsetter: U r wrong in these cases of Naagin and Kawach series, Ekta offered Mona Kawach 2 first as she was the main lead for Kawach 1 but she declined, she wanted to be in some other shows, Ekta herself mentioned it, so thats why different cast for kawach2. since the main lead heroine is changed.

Same for Naagin 2, Arjun picked different show and did not want to define himself as Naagin boy, so Ekta casted Mouni with Karan for naagin 2, for Naagin 3 Ekta only casted Surbhi after Mouni refuse to do Naagin 3 because of her bollywood career and movies. Ekta herself was upset when Mouni could not do Naagin 3.

so thats why the cast for Naagin 3 is different because the main lead heroine got changed.

so u see its not that channel or PH dont want to repeat jodi for sequel, its about actor & actress wish too.

i think Ekta and Channel will have no objection and will repeat Mohit Tina jodi if the actors are professional enough to want to do it again.

It depends on Mohit and Tina basically. which i think they should work together again if they r professional enough. If they r not professional and dont want to act together again then thats a different issue. I think more than Mohit, its Tina's wish.

I don't think a S2 is on cards and even if it is doubt if Mohit Tina will get back together. Not sure about the details like u guys since I watched the initial few episodes only and the recent episodes now. Just read that Tina accused Mohit of misconduct and I observed their insta too. I don't think offscreen they share a friendly bond. Even if EK comes up with a new season she is likely to repeat Tina who may play Akarshvi's daughter but the male lead will be different like in Naagin franchise. Being professionals they ensured the show did not suffer and shot till the end to comply with their contracts but a new show? They have the right to take a call. Why will they wish to work together again after all that fiasco? Things got so bad that people speculated Mohit ill treating Priya Bhaitja too when things were good between them.

@Mages: Daayan got it recognition and turned out to be best show after Naagin in that Genre all thanks to the lead pair Akarsh & Jhanvi and their gorgeous screen presense, Ekta will surely want to cash in that but it depends on the actors,

My gut feeling says , Daayan will be a series again since success of Daayan is 10 times better than Kawach series & other shows in this genre. It aired on & Tv still Daayan got the maximum popularity after Naagin series.

I know u r Kawach fan but i dont like Deepika's acting, she was good in her previous show, here she acts hysterical sometimes and over the top just opposite Erica who downplays Prerna's role when it should be magnetic.

Both were good actresses, but dont know what happened to them they r performing poor acting wise in their new shows.

Had no idea about it. On outer front it looked to me that none of Ekta's supernatural show sequels have repeated jodi.

But then again the things come back to that they didn't have any good experience to work with each other. I mean feeling uncomfortable because of someone's behaviour is a big issue, why would she want to work again? Same with Mohit, why would he want to work again with her? Their issue was not actually just a simple fight or ego clash. They would want to work in other shows offered.

I dont think Mohit will ever refuse, because he is more interested in these kind of roles and moreover like u said before he is 100% professional. He is not working with body doubles with Tina and that says a lot.The guy wants to work, thats it.

Even if they don't want to work again together then they wouldn't be unprofessional. They have the choice. Just like mentioned above, Arjun didn't want to stick to Nagn franchise and he refused, that was his choice. Same way for Moani or Mona. Tinaa and Mohit would have been unprofessional if they refused to work with each other after committing for the show. I see them giving their 100% currently and always for the show as they signed the show and committed for it. Now what projects they wanna take in future is totally unto them.

U took my word and took it other way, I said if they r professional they would work together again. Mona and Arjun did not do the roles because they got something different and better,Mona and Arjun did not do the roles because of any personal issue, they have good rapport with their onscreen partners. They took the decision because of work front. Now if Tina gets something better, she can pick that role, but if she does not get anything better or lead role, and if she is offered Daayan again and if she does not take the role, then its not the same decision as Arjun or Mona's cases, right? Its because she will take the decision more on personal level.So then it will look unprofessional from her side.

But honestly I doubt as of now Ekta will bring Season 2 for the show. ANd if S2 is on cards, I doubt any one of them is a part of it.

Ekta would definitely want to bring season 2 Daayan because the show is success, thats why it was finite series. Otherwise Ekta does not have habit of doing short termed show for Tv. Like i mentioned above, Ekta likes to repeat leads/ Jodi for her supernatural sequel shows, it mainly depends on the actors. if Tina does not agree then the cast would change. If Tina wants to work again, Ekta will surely repeat.

@The_Trendsetter: Honestly, as a fan Tina fan if u r sooo uptight for her and have soo much reservations and restrictions in ur comments for her pairing and all staff and Tina is also like that, then she will fade away soon enough from media no matter how gorgeous and talented she is, she wont get good show/good role and it will be only because no channel/ PH would risk it for her reservations and. No channel or PH want to hire actors who have baggage,Media industry is very open, the less the objections from actor's side the more the chances of getting hired.Now please dont take my words wrong way again.

That does not mean, if Tina objected for Mohit's behavior was wrong,she was right from her side, she could handle it better.

Season 2 Daayan is going to be definitely on the cards since Daayan is hit. anyway u right, actors have all the right to take their call. I dont think Mohit will disagree ever. But Tina might be having objections, which is fine if she has, But just because of the media article is bad, i wont call that things are too bad right now either otherwise they would have still issue. Tina herself mentioned that they have ironed out difference which is also visible on screen. Remember Ekta shows ran for long years even when leads had more serious issue and more bad relations. Mohit and Tina just maintained professional distance and i dont think as actors they have too much issue either, otherwise things would have been more difficult,

Now its upto actors, if they want to work together Ekta will surely cast them together, Now if the storyline changes and actors specially Tina does not want to work with Mohit again, then things will change and they will have different cast.

That Priya Bhatija article was a stunt from actor's side to display that he has good relation with other actresses.

Honestly its all because he got naturally attracted to Tina in offscreen as well when for other actresses he is very normal. If u watch the show completely, u will see hospital scene and u will know ur answer, why i am saying this, lol. Also, even in serials people work, so there are too many set politics as well between. so u know the situation can get out of hand sometimes.

bingy is right...EK mention herself that she wanted to repeat mouni in S3 but mouni chose BW same goes for arjun in S2....he chose ishq mein marjawan...S2 on board came KV n N3 all new cast but than again she brought all S1/S2 cast together again in N3 climax...arjun-mouni..kv-mouni back in climax n finished up their respective season though there is no head n tail to it..she mess up S2 badly

kavach she wanted to repeat S2 with mona since S1 was already mona show but it did not materialise as she was doing EK web series n it clash with Kavach 2 schedule...so she opt with a new cast...

EK is the only person who repeats jodis...she has repeated hiten-gauri...karan-kritika...ram-sakshi to name a few...she also wanted to repeat shaheer-erica but it did not materialised...she does repeat jodis but than like bingy says its upto the actors too if they want to do the show again or they chose another or don't want to work with the person again....its upto them n EK cannot force them

coming to mohit-tina issue...well yes its a serious issue due to one side emotions but if one of them want to break the contract they can do it...many actors have done it by breaking contract...this was a serious issue that EK understand very well and she did not call both of them personally to just know the issue but also to know what decision the actors took..if they want to work together or not becos they are the main leads...they need to do romantic and intimate scenes...so of course she wants to know their decision if they want to break the contract its upto their choice and she will never force them as she knows the grave of the issue or they still want to work together despite of the issue but she will make sure both are comfortable while shooting together to be honest guys its really difficult for both of them...its hard to shoot with each other after all this issue...forget intimate n romantic scenes but standing infront of each other looking into each other eyes is already difficult...mohit-tina took the challenge n did it...they give 1000% to their scenes and dedication to their work...if here they are very professional than if there is S2 and EK wants to repeat them again...though the off-screen issues might be there but they will still give 1000% to their work n commitment...mohit-tina are way more mature than other actors of EK camp n other shows...hats off
