You described it so well! Over the years, movies have generally portrayed the stereotypical image of who is a good catch for a girl. But this totally shows that the usual checkboxes that are told to us may be just as superficial!

That's what I am saying...all these jobs you listed above are not stereotype...like doctor engineer MBA blah blah...hence at first glance only..Kunal would appear to be more acceptable than Abir...

And how much ever financially stable a painter or a shayar will be ..ppl still have problems accepting that as a career...

- Abhir earlier said in Ved-Ketu's shaadi that kudse zyada when Mishti asks if he trusts her.
Now, Mishti tells the same to Abhir that she trusts him more than herself.

- When Mishti was dressing up for engagement, Abir comes in; but turns back and gives dupatta when Mishti's blouse knot was not tied.
But, in yesterday's episode, Abhir notices and closes the zip.

- Mishti while trying to explain to Abhir about Ved already being married; she got too close to him and that completely affected Abhir. But, similarly,I feel Abhir is getting close to Mishti and it is affecting Mishti. The only difference is Mishti did that unintentionally and Abhir is doing this intentionally 😆

- Abhir was indeed getting jealous at times during Kunal-Mishti rishta era and now, similar jealousy is brought in for Mishti (artificial jealousy though 😆).

- During the fire accident time, Abhir saved Mishti and was at distance looking at Mishti through video call. Now, I think in the upcoming episodes, Abhir is probably not going to leave Mishti alone even for a second after the assault by goons in Shweta's party and be there as a support to her.

I think we will see more such similar scenes and finally that will lead to Mishti's realization. I'm guessing the next might be Abhir in danger like how Mishti was in danger; she will help just like Abhir helped (may be the upcoming cyclone thing and Abhir is fighting with those goons who tried to assault Mishti in the party? ) and Mishti arrives and saves him? It will be really weird if Abhir didn't fight with those goons after what they were trying to do to Mishti.

I'm really looking forward to what's gonna happen next.

Updated: Even in today's episode, we saw Mishbir hugging and this time, Abhir was kissing her head and consoling. It looked like he wanted to kiss her further and take away all her fear. Even few episodes back, when Mishti was feeling very low; Abhir was there to console her and they had a hug (nothing beyond that). But, now the relationship has become even more deeper. As the song plays, slowly, slowly, both are part of each other's life. It is really awesome.

Very nicely written... I wanted to write about the first point and you said that beautifully.

About Abir jealousy during Mishkun courtship, was he jealous actually? I remember him being frustrated. Anyways I just want to forget that phase.

Other points beautifully put forth...
