Part 3 :

Sameer was waiting for Naina with the movie tickets " Mai bhi kya yeh romantic movie dekhne aaya , pata nahi log yeh illogical movies kyun dekhtein hai , aur woh bhi bollywood , Beta Sameer 3 hrs torture pakka " he kept cursing himself for accepting this plan.

"Sameer ! " Naina called him from the other end of bike stand as he turned his pulse increased automatically . Dressed in pink she looked ravishing, her kohl black hair plunged over her shoulders . His eyes blinked and opened, slowly focusing on her face. The perfectly tailored pink dress added glow to her fair complexion, bindi and the jhumkas were adding charm to her innocence. Her beautiful eyes with all calm radiance were looking at him with tender affection . " Jisne bhi Naina naam rakha hai Sahi rakha hai " he murmured.

He made a gesture to come to his side as the entrance was near. She started walking slowly towards him giving his senses a sweet torture.

"Kya huva aisa kyun dekh rahe ho " ?? Naina questioned .

"Tumhare Naino mein doob jane ko jee chahata hai " he said instantly and bit his lower lip ,

" Wow Sameer and these chessy lines, ! " she exclaimed.

"Arey mera matalb ,tumhara naam kisne rakha hai?. Ek dum sahi sochke rakha hai , tumhare Naina matlab aakhen bahut khoobsurat hai". he tried to correct his previous statement.

"Woh mere chachaji ne rakha tha . Chale?"

"Haan Haan chalo , bahar se to movie dekh nahi sakte " he replied in a teasing tone.

Once the movie started , Sameer started his running commentary along with his own prenotions .

"Dekha hero ek dum perfect looks , aur haan yeh heroine ek dum mast, aur lo ab yeh gaana bhi gati hai aur hero bhi singer hai, sahi hai ab pyar hoga " . Naina stared at him and made a gesture to be quiet. He would be quiet for 15 minutes or so and then again fresh set of dialogues from his end would begin to annoy her. He liked the irritated look on her face. Now and then he would open his mobile and glance at her face in the dim light of it.Her emotions were not easily hidden on her innocent face. He loved the way she blushed on a romantic scene, the teary look on seeing a sad scene, her eyes showed her soul , he wondered how can someone can be so cute and pure at heart.

"Usko gaana sikhane ke badle thoda alcohol rehab mein seriously time spend karta to kuch to fyada hota. "

" Sameer please chup ho jao, movie dekhne do , aur gaane bhi bahut acche hai mera personal favourite hai yeh gaana " Chahu Mai ya Naa" or baki ke dono gaane jo aane hai "Tum Hi Ho hai" or "Sun Raha hai na Tu. "

" Chahana hai to Chaho ya mat chaho ,isko itna lamba gaana gaake kyun suna raha hai?" saying this he sulked in his seat. Naina was completely engrossed in the movie and looking at her smile he felt "chalo iski hasi ke liye yeh torture bhi seh sakta houn" and concentrated on the song and his wordings.

" Oh ! Aadha torture khatam , break to mila . Bahut rush hai tum yahi ruko I will get some snacks" saying this he left.

Naina felt so comfortable with him."Samaj nahi aata kabhi itna matured act karta hai aur kabhi bachoun jaisa par har aada pe pyar aata hai" she said adoring at him in the moving crowd.

After 15 mins or so he came with two pop corns of the same flavor along with Maaza and Coke.

"Sameer ek hi flavor ke do kyun laye , ek hi lana tha na ? "

"No chance! phir ek popcorn share karne ke baad tum kehti pyar ho gaya hai to ??!!

"Share karne se pyar ho jayein zaroori nahi hai, but the feeling of sharing with someone you love is different " she said and took the popcorn from him

His banter about the movie continued . "Aur ab yeh heroine apna career kharab kar rahi hai.? No practical thinking. Hero ko itna gussa kyun aata hai aur bekar mein problems bada raha hai?. " Naina kept her finger on his lips to quieten him and Sameer instinctively kissed her finger. Her face deepened to crimson and she quickly withdrew it.

"Ab aise karogi to reaction hoga na aur upar se romantic movie dikha rahi ho " , he tried to blame the movie.

She didn't say anything and went back to watching or tried to act. Her heart beats had raised to new heights."Aisi harkatoun se isse kuch nahi hoga , par mujhe pakka pyar ho jayega "

" Accha huva she didn't slap you" , his brain warned him. He remained quiet for sometime and changed his focus on the ongoing movie.

Naina seeing that he had finished his pop corn and she had half left , asked him " Chahiye ??"

" Haan Do , kuch to timepass ho jayega "

" Dekho kahi pyar na ho jayein " she giggled

" Funny , mera hi dailogue mujhe" he replied

Their pulse went into a frenzy of activity whenever their fingers lightly brushed while taking the pop corn . They held the surroundings and the movie responsible for this.

Naina was already on the verge of crying at the last scene .

"EK baat sahi hai Naina, pyar mein sirf barbadi hai aur kuch nahi, Sameer remembering the song from Sarfarosh said

Arz Hai, Kuch Majnu Bane, Kuch Raanjha Bane

Kuch Romeo, Kuch Farhad Hue

Is Rang Roop Ki Chaahat Mein, Jaane Kitne Barbaad Hue, Vo Dekho

the lost smile returned on her face. Finally when the movie got over, they got up to leave "Seriously Sameer, next time galti se bhi tumahre saath romantic movie dekhne nahi aaoungi ".

"Thank God ! tum samaj gayi aur tum bhi mat dekho aisi bakwas movies. Paise kharch karke roone wali bewakoof ek tumhi ho ".

Even though he knew the movie was not bad and felt sad at the ending but acted as if it didn't matter. She placed her right palm on his heart and said " Tum yahan se sochoge to bakwas nahi lagegi " . Her touch was so soothing, he stood still for sometime. "Chalo " he could hardly manage to say.

As they reached the end of the row Sameer whispered "Ruko" and held her close all through the way to exit . His heart beat was uneven and he couldn't understand why. "Aaj pakka doctor ke pass jake apna BP check up karvana padega " he mused. His presence lended sense of tranquility to Naina's heart.

After dropping Naina , he went to his doctor to check if he really has BP. "Sameer sab thik hai . tumhe BP nahi hai. Kabhi kabhi khushi se ya stress se hota hai , you are perfectly fine young man. " the doctor assured him. "May be you are in love " he added with a slight touch of humor in his tone.

Naina was no better off either " He is my best friend or is he more than that ? am I falling in love? Why didn't I get angry when he kissed my hand ? Why his proximity is affecting me ? these thoughts kept her awake for a long time.

Sameer kept tossing in his bed thinking about the time spent with Naina. Even though he hated to watch the movie but he had actually enjoyed her company a lot. Her thoughts never left his mind and after an hour or so he drifted off to sleep. He had this strange dream where he was twirling her around and she too was laughing holding him. The alarm clock beside his bed brought him out of the dream world .

"Ek romantic movie dekhne ke baad itne side effects , no more romantic movies" feeling a little confused he headed to the college.

Next day when they met, they talked about the next semester exams and other usual talks ignoring the inner turbulence they were feeling. Few days had passed but one thought bothered Sameer a lot. He was curious to know or rather confirm if his heart pulse elated only with Naina or any other girl. ?

Seeing Sonali , th prettiest girl of the college an idea popped up and it brought a mischievous smile to his lips. "Hi Sonali , Looking beautiful " hearing this Sonali was overexcited " Hiiiiii Sameer Thank you " and hugged him tightly. It was very rare that Sameer talked or praised any girl in the college. His heartbeat didn't elevate nor he felt any frenzy feeling . "Kuch nahi huva ". It was confirmed now that it was only with Naina that his heart acted differently.

Naina who was watching this a little away from them " Hi bola tha , to gale lagane ki kya zaroorat. Sameer in ladkiyoun se dur hi rahe to accha hai " she felt a pang of jealousy creeping in her.

Later that night he googled " What are the symptoms of falling in love " , the query resulted in lot of websites giving the signs. He opened a website which said " signs that you're falling in love according to Science " , after all he wouldn't leave logic and what better than science to answer him logically.

"Your heart rate synchronizes with theirs ,you heart rate may skip a beat when you think about the one you love " haan yeh to ho raha hai. "

" You always think about them " - Yeh bhi sahi hai.

" You always want them to be happy" - Yes he couldn't see a tear in her eye and do whatever could bring the smile on her face.

He noted down all the signs and almost all the signs they mentioned matched with his condition. " So I am in love , Ohhhh I am in love with Naina , he felt elated and screamed on this new found realization.

"But What next !! " , he called up Munna & Pandit and explained his situation along with the checklist he had made about signs and how all of them were positive in his case. His friends were excited and happy to hear Sameer who use to run away from love had now fallen in love.

Pandit asked "Bhai pyar ho gaya hai tujhe , par kisse ?? "

He replied "Naina se"

"Oye Teri ! Koi aur ladki hoti , jaise hi tu I love you bolta to woh fatak se gale lagaati , ab yeh to Naina hai , Dosti ke liye itne chakkar kaate the ab pyar bolega to Naina devi to tum ko zor se chaata maregi."

Imagining the situation Sameer kept his palm on his cheek and a bit worried asked "To kya karun ?? " .

" Ek kaam kar tu na "DDLG or MPK " dekh , Shahrukh aur Salman tujhe thoda to romance ke tips de hi denge. Kal is naye rishte ki shuravat Dairy Milk share karke karna " Kuch meetha ho jayein " mimiking the ad " Pandit suggested.

"Baki ka baad mein sochtein hai., ab soone de humein tu jaa movie dekh" Munna told in sleepy tone.

That night Sameer Maheswari who never had watched romantic moves watched DDLG and MPK and even liked it. He picked up few dialogues as well that he can use.

The morning seemed more beautiful and cheerful. There was more joy in his heart today which peeked through the windows of his eyes. He rushed to the college with great anticipation and hope. Waiting for her in the class " Love , When you heart melts like butter on a hot toast at the sight of someone . When you feel lightheaded and free, When you ache to be with them , to look at them , to touch them , that is Love " words that he had read last night kept coming back to his mind. Now the bigger worry was how will he confess this to Naina , he had always argued with her that love doesn't exist or there is a need for something else.

That day Naina was late to the college and first half he couldn't talk to her for one or the other reason. "Yaar aaj hi sab log isko pakad ke baite hai , kab milegi akeli . Shayad ise hi bekarari kehte hai" , he faintly smiled on seeing this side of himself. Finally during lunch break he could get hold of her

"Haan bolo , subah se kuch kehna tha tumhe " she asked but words failed to come out from his mouth.

"Woh kuch nahi , bas yeh laya tha " pulling out a large Dairy Milk chocolate with dry fruits he handed it to her.

"Wow , Thank you " she took it happily from him

"Dosti ka ek usool hai madam no sorry no thank you , MPK nahi dekhi kya ? " he told with great satisfaction , finally he could use one of the dialogues he had memorized last night .

"Tum kabse yeh filmy dialogue bolna shuru kiye ? , dekhi tumne yeh movie ?" .

"Na Naahi dekhi, woh bas ais hi suna tha Munna , Pandit se " . His ego didn't allow him to confess that he had not only watched romantic movies but also enjoyed them.

"Chocolate akele akele hi kha rahi ho, leaning a bit towards her "Share nahi karogi ? " he asked in a husky tone

His husky voice sent shivers through her body . With trembling voice she said " Haan to , mai kahan nahi . Lo na , akele itna bada chocolate mai nai kha sakti " .

Taking a bite from her hand he said " hmmm, Bahut meetha hai !! " .

She blushed more , "did he say meeta because it was jhootha of her or he literally meant the chocolate was sweet ". she kept thinking and looking everywhere but not at him to clam herself.

"Yeh idhar udhar kyun dekh rahi hai . Share kar raha houn woh bhi uske haath se kha bhi raha houn. Ab kaho na pyar ho jayega mujhe aise share karne se aur mai keh dounga pyar ho jayega nahi pyar ho gaya hai " he kept looking at her with all the love and hope.

The chocolate got over but neither she asked nor he confessed his feelings to her.

Later the trio sitting in his room were doing a postmortem and diagnosis of the days event and his situation.

"Yaar aaj tak kuch share karke nahi khaya, aaj khaya to samaj na chahiye na usko "Sameer whined..

"Dekh aaj tak tu uska accha dost tha, to woh tujhe granted legi . Share karna normal hai aur tu ne to itni baar usko kahan hai pyar jaisi koi cheez nahi hai , Ab achanak tujhe pyar ho gaya hai kaise samjhegi " Munna replied.

After a lot of brain stroming , Pandit suggested " Kal Ho Na Ho dekhtein hai " .

"Abe Chenu , yahan hum Sameer ki kaise madad karein yeh soch rahe hai aur tujhe picture dekhne ki padi hai ? "

"Arey nahi , puri baat to sun , us movie mein Shahrukh khan ,Saif Ali khan ko tips deta hai " Che din ladki in ... sirf che din " . Us mein bhi Saif , Preeti ka best friend rehta hai. wahi use karenge Waise Sameer tujhe pata hai Preeti ka naam us movie mein Naina hi hai , he teased him and finished his talk.

Both Sameer and Munna agreed and started watching the movie. They all noted the steps that shahrukh khan suggested .

The EPIC diary scene dialogues were watched again and again. Sameer noted the dialogues line by line and repeated it many times as if they were written for him and his Naina. He mentally made a note that he will use these lines in his love proposal.

"Naina kaash mein tumhe bataa sakta, mein tumhe kitna chahta hoon.

I love you, I love you very very much Naina.

Main aankhein band kartahoon toh tumhe dekhta hoon, aankhein kholta hoon toh tumhe dekhna chahta hoon.

Tum paas nahin hoti toh tumhe charon taraf mehsoos karta hoon.

Har pal har ghadi har waqt mere naina mere Naina ko doondhte hain.

Ise pyar kaho, paagalpan ya mere dil ki dhadkan. Mere liye ek hi baat hai.

Pyaar toh bahut log karte hain, lekin mere jaisa pyar koi nahin kar sakta, kyonki kisi ke paas tum jo nahin ho.

Main tumhe bhool nahin sakta Naina. Main tumhe bhoolna hi nahin chahta.

Tum meri ho,main tumhe zindagi bhar pyar karoonga. Marte dam tak pyar karoonga aur uske baad bhi.'

He practiced these lines and his skin flushed at the mere thought of proposing her.

Tu kal se Naina se baat nahi karega , dekhega bhi nahi , ignore karega usko " Munna and Pandit suggested restless Sameer. "Che din ladki in -- " yaad hai na they repeated.

Precap : " Mai 2 weeks ke liye ghar jaa rahi houn , Shaadi hai " . Hearing this he spilled the juice from his mouth " Kyaaaa !! Shaadi hai tumhari ?? .
