Altering Formula can be done easily by professionals while manufacturing, PK wanted to earn millions with Ashok Formula and Ashok wanted to sell the medicine on cheaper price to he can cure poor people, PK was Greedy man ..I guess Ashok Malhotra rejecteded doing business with PK so PK got furious and trapped him by altering formular and produced wrong medice and many people died comsuming wrong medicine and blame went to ashok malhotra.. PK trapped Ashok in that and when Ashok found out about PKs crime , PK burnt him alive so real culprit can never be found but Jhanvi knew all along what PK did to her father ..Ishani was very young ..

He did for cost cutting by using wrong stuff without Ashok knosledge ?? and he blamed ashok for that when people started dying after consuming that medicine to save himself ...when Ahsok found out , he murdered him also.. this can be possible

I remember one flashback. Ashok wanted to provide his medicine free of cost to people.

And PK wanted to make money off it. By selling the medicine at high cost.
