Part 1
As she opened her eyes she found a world that was unknown to her. She was a mere child who knew nothing about the happenings of world. On further observations she found herself looking into a pair of familiar eyes. He smiled at her. "Radhe radhe, beta" whispered the man to her. I am your baba." I always wanted radha ju to bless me with a child that would be her grace. She bestowed me with you. "
Saying thus the man hugged the child to his chest. While giving birth her mother had died and her father was a priest. They had very less belongings. Her father owned a temple that was the heredity of their forefathers. The main idol in the sanctum was bihari ji and radha ju. Like most of the people of brij the name of radha Krishna was their ultimate wealth. The brijwasis lived on the principle-
TOOK MILE RASIKO KI SADA
AUR PEEVAN KO JAMUNA JAL PAANI
HAME AURAN KI PARWAAH NAHI
APNI THAKURANI SHREE RADHIKA RANI....
it meant the life would be worth if we achieve the words of advice from rasik saints of vrindavan, and yamuna water to drink. Why would we care for this illusion of world when we are living in the feet of shri radha rani.
Baba gently lifted the 3days old child in his lap and took her to their home. Their home was nothing worthwhile. A small cottage with resources to barely sustain their life. They couldn't afford the luxuries of the world. They did have a cow. They called her suvarna. Suvarna was the cow of very calm nature. She was purely white in complexion with two big horns that were shaped like half moon. A very strong body and very sweet milk. Many people on seeing the cow had asked to baba for selling her but the cow was like a member of their family and they could never sell her. The cow on seeing the little girl was filled with motherly love and bestowed them with sweet milk. As baba gave the milk to little girl she was satisfied.
Like this the little girl found her father in baba and mother in cow. But she had no idea that she would find her other half in Lord of the universe.
Baba decided to name the girl Rewa. Rewa is another name to river Narmada. Just like the flow of River Narmada is against the usual direction baba wanted Rewa to follow her heart and in doing so make sure to provide happiness to everyone that comes in her path.
Rewa grew up to be a sweet girl. Her father would take Rewa with him to worship bihari ji everyday. Rewa loved the music coming from bells. She would play with suvarna. Suvarna loved Rewa like she was her calf. She would lick Rewa's face whenever she came to meet her. Their love and affection failed the one between real mother and daughter.
Rewa enjoyed all her time in the temple of Bihari ji. She loved to touch the small peacock feather adoring the mukut of small idol of bihari ji placed in front of life size idol of Radha-Krishna.
Days passed by like this and Rewa continued to take part in worship of shri Krishna everyday. When she grew up to be one year old for the first time she uttered the name of bihari ji. In her toddler tongue his name came out to be Biai ji. That was how she found the next family member in her Biai ji.
She would dance whenever she would listen to his bhajans. Though she was very adorable toddler she was not liked by the general people. The reason was her mother's death on her birth.
But a child doesn't care about opinion of people in general. She was content with her life. She had three people in her periphery whom she considered her own. Her baba, suvarna ma and Biai ji. What else would a one year old child care for. Plus it was just a beginning this small child had no idea what fate awaits her.
Its always the people rejected or ignored by society who change the way society works. The main concern though remained How would Biai ji accompany this child Rewa in her journey.
