If you watched Punar Vivah you'd have the same feelings, but this show seems much more realistic and less melodramatic. They should have more shows like this so that divorced or widowed men or women do not hesitate to take a second chance in life. I love the way they don't make a fuss over HS loving his first wife forever, acknowledging her role in making him the man he is, and forever respecting her values and principles, while at the same time making it seem perfectly normal that he'd fall for another woman in such an innocent but respectful way, because he was following Imarti's teachings and trying to support Minnie and Babita.
As for simplicity, for a change it's the man wearing colorful clothes (I love the colors of his pathani suits) and the woman wearing very simple and light colored clothing. The screenplay is so brilliant that they use everyday activities like washing or ironing clothes, doing the dishes, or even making tea to portray beautiful emotions and convey deep messages. That's one of the things I love most about this show - it's has that slice-of-life feel that makes it relatable to everyday people.
