Rohit is the voice of every sane audience out there

So while randomly channel surfing I stumbled upon a scene. A lady is hooked to the soap on TV & so emotionally into it. A young man is casually watching & alternates between laughter & shock at the crap being dished out. An Indian soap with an inside joke mocking itself. Wow! My interest spiked. Then I pulled up Hotstar & binge watched all the episodes. So far so good.

Plus

I like the hero. No mom/dad/childhood/past issues causing him to be unfit for human consumption. Not the typical, boring, manhandling AYM of Indian Telly (Yo ASR my darling I am looking at u dude)

They actually show both the leads as working.

No Kitchen politics so far.

No thread like non existent dupatta around the neck which keeps flying around

No trip, fall, catch, eye lock, deep breathing, asthma crap

Leads having normal conversation

FL is grounded & is not the typical white as snow virginal small town Mary Sue

Minus

FL looks tad old in close up

Both the leads overact sometimes (only sometimes but still)

Sets/props are awful

Overall the plus outweigh the minus.

As per my analysis all Indian soaps are good for the 1st 100 episodes. I call it The Century Theory of Indian Soaps. So will definitely stick with this show for at least few more weeks 👍🏼

This! Despite the fact that the female lead plays a TV actress. LOL.

@Manhandling: You spoke too soon. Just saw a sneak peek where hez partially strangling her in anger. The thing that keeps this light is that KVG always looks like he is being funny. His anger looks very fake.

I guess m so used to his comedy videos from SIT that it is impossible to take him seriously. His angry scenes amuse me no end. Hopefully it is intentional.

@Bold - Hi-5!!! 🤣 I call the phenomenon - 4th-month cliff-dive. All shows run out of ideas and dive into an abyss sometime during their 4th month. This show is just a week old. 95 episodes to go! Sit back and enjoy!

It was obvious that it seems to be some kind of imagination, I'm pretty sure it was one of the leads' imagination n not something that really happened

I wasn't talking about whether it happened or not.

Even if as an imagination, they did show it. I dunno why they try to attract audiences through such scenes. But it was funny! Unlike the other shows that make it look intense.
