Jhanvi/Pooja is never meant to be a positive character. She knows how to have things her way and brutally forces people to do it.

I don't think makers would be trying to justify Pooja and glorify her at any level. It's just a story being narrated that way.

Jhanvi is clearly not a goody goody heroine like Durga (EHT) or Avni. She's a badass and that is the whole freshness about.

Durga infact was strictly limited to her target. That is another story that a LOT of people had wronged her, here it's only PK.

And we also got to see how Jhanvi extracts her revenge.

This also justifies Kabir's journey now to destroy her.

I'm really excited to know where this goes.

I don't think luv story will happen between Kabir/Jhanvi. How will they pair a positive lead and a negative lead. Either she will be shown redeemed or getting punishment for her crimes.

To those who think they won't show love story. This is itv not now but after few months you can see they will show the love story of Pooja kabir. The ending promo line Teri Meri clearly indicates their love story. But it will be a slow and gradual process.

yes trp audience like only white heroines n thats why kdb kkb kzk yrkkh sns are huge hits but on IF n YouTube viewers love janvi n here many people have sympathy towards her .I have seen many such posts in the forum I don't think trps have anything to do with living a character.people love mauli geet anika gauri riddhima.but those shows were not trp shows.but I agree that trps are low as the heroine is not positive

While I agree with what you are trying to say, yes, its true that TRP audience does not accept grey heroines. Avni and Durga were positive heroines, who were clever. They were never grey or dark.

Anyways, I think its blatant hypocrisy of TRP audience when they accept grey heroes who are playboys in EK shows, or abuse the female lead in Gul shows, but they can't accept a female doing wrong. I mean, in IB the hero actually kidnapped a 7 year old child, and that episode fetched the highest ratings for that episode in the show, that year.

So, while I agree with your contention, the state of TRP audience is deplorable if they accept near criminal male leads, but don't have the same standards for female leads.

Also, Maya was, again, very popular online. The epitome of grey female character. But yes, again, Beyhadh had very less trps, but it was lucky to be aired on Sony which doesn't care about trps.

Poor EBSS has to suffer, because despite trying something lesser tried, it was rejected by TRP audience for having a grey lead, and Star Plus is greedy for trps. smh.

The only thing that went possibly wrong is we've a grey heroine here instead of a hero.

She was an orphan,her husband was a traitor,in sasural she wasn't likes by any of them. She possess all the quality to become a TRP favourite. But unfortunately nothing was executed properly due to the forced romance which they were showing during the initial episodes.

If she wud hv cried buckets the TRP junta wud hv definitely supported the show.

Kavya already was crying too much in every episode. Paani ki problem solve ho jaati if she continued for longer 🤣

What didn't click was the quite sudden Kabir Kavya pairing. And also that people were expecting Jhanvi Kabir track as it was promoted that way.

What I think is Kabir Pooja was always meant to happen. But it happened more maturely. Makers had it in mind to have a hate-love tale this way but due to TRP pressure it happened sooner and in a rushed way.

Yes completely agree, Jhanvi was never meant to be sympathized with and that's the thing I LOVED about her! She's a classified badass.
