Probably it's not a rumor, coz Salman Khan has already toned down his body a lot to look himself younger like he used to be during the 90's. Probably the movie will have two versions of his story (the flashbacks of the younger Chulbul Pandey and the present day's Chulbul Pandey).

Dabang 3 is supposed to a spin off.

But vinod khanna is dead! How will they bring back his pappa? Anyways he will not look that young no matter what they do so its futile imo.
