When we think of 'evil', we automatically think of someone who is heartless and cold-bloodedly bad.

It could be you or others..Not everyone..How can you decide or judge that everyone will think the same..We do say "That's an evil laugh" to our friends?(At least I heard and saw among my batch mates)Does it really mean they are criminals? Ppl use words as per the context and situation

Just an expression yaar.

Forget girlfriend what if he has wife? What her rumours would do to his marriage then?

Evil meaning INTENTIONALLY ruining lives, or cold-bloodedly planning to do so. Making delusional assumptions doesn't make anyone evil. Like I said, every human on earth would be evil then.

Some gossip can also destroy lives, but that doesn't make all the people who gossip as evil. 🤣 Everyone makes assumptions from time to time. That would mean you, me everyone are evil.

Any gossip which destroy lives is evil and gossip monger an evil person..

Harmless gossip is not problem but serious ones like affairs can ruin lives which are cheap and disgusting
