She does doesn't she? Abir encourages her to just be herself with him. With him, all her walls are down and it's just his angry violent chorni, within whom lies a child.

@kuhu - I will say it again, I just wanted to slap her. None of her actions were warranted.. gaaah!!

koi aapko aapke liye pyar kare bahut kam hota hai. shakal surat shauhrat to aati jati rehti hai

the way each other lights up seeing each other

Let me start with saying that there is nothing more impactful than bringing back the same scene to show how far the leads have travelled in their personal equation.

Go back 3 months, we had a Mishti crying about her family, about her parents abandoning her and we had an Abir hiding behind the clothes rack, yet comforting her with his words. Discreetly handing her his hanky, he told her it's okay to cry. They were strangers then, so she immediately stopped crying when she knew there was someone else, she didn't want to be vulnerable.

Come back to today, and we have a Mishti who broke down with the self guilt she has, about everyone taunting her for taking what is due to kuhu, about Meenakshi taunting her about coming from a broken family - and the minute she sees Abir she runs into his arms.

He engulfs her in his arms, feeling her pain, telling her once more that it's okay to cry. That she doesn't need to feel responsible for everyone's happiness all the time. And Mishti let's herself be soothed by his words, by his embrace. He is not just her friend. He is her anchor, her solid ground, her constant.

It's remarkable how same yet how different these two scenes were!! Take a bow, the entire team!! The writers gave us a gem today.

Shaheer sheik and Rhea Sharma nailed this scene as usual.

Your thoughts?

Brilliant post and very thoughtfully written. Even i loved this parallel of these two scenes with same sutuations but different approach to it.

Both Abir and Mishti have come a long way from being strangers to best of friends. So much has changed in these past three months between them. Mishti has grown up hearing these two things- she is either given as an example of a strong girl or she has been blamed for snatching kuhus happiness. Now, to add on that, she has been labelled as a homebreaker by none other than Big Ben. This is all too much to take. Eveyone has a breaking point. When she saw her friend, her Best Friend who is probably the only person with whom she can be herself with, she didnot hold back and ran towards him. And Abir does what hes best at. He comforts her and lets her be herself. Abir knows that Mishti have been through a lot recently but shes keeping a brave face infront of others and she needs to let it all out. And Abir helped her to do so. It was short hug but probably the most meaningful hug. Shaherr and Rhea nailed this scene. It didnt look forced or ott. Perfectly done.
