Everything was going in a systematic way till the manohar track happened and janhvi was shown very different from her old self. The show went downhill after that and the last hit was bahu vs bahu promo.

I think the makers were never clear about what they wanted. Did they want to copy the original... a positive bahu vs negative bahu? Or did they want to show a revenge story of a woman against a family? I think they started off quite fine with the latter and then abruptly shifted gears to the former, and the whole thing is in a mess.

And I don't think the makers had anything properly planned for Kabir that would gel with the story. It's like they casted a popular actor to attract viewers but had no idea on how to give scope for the character.

Yes Specially Zain ..he was used for promotion but makers never bother to give him strong powerful role like Jhanvi and Ayub and it was very dissapppoiting

Everything was going allright until they Ruined Manohars Track and started focussing on Bahu vs Bahu ...it was so annoying to watch

PS- Vyom kabir kavya Track was unnecesaary too ...i had to skip ...secret agent double agent ..bla bla

If they have wanted to copy of the original version , Definitely a familiar actress would have not been selected to act in a complete dark character when the least familiar actress will be a positive lead. many popular negative actresses are here to act original Jaanvi role perfectly.

I think firstly the casting went wrong.

Zain and Shrenu should have been paired , they could have portrayed a love story parallel to the ongoing revenge plot. The show has a lot of negativity in it , a softer side of janhvi could have been shown through it.

Next comes the channel , i believe star bharat being new to the competition wouldn't have intervened with the plot. And in comparison to the others shows of star bharat EBSS has a decent rating hence no pressure of trp as well.

Now the most important part , the writing. Acc to me none of the characters were written properly. Ayub being an outstanding actor is 'making' his character work.

Also they messed up on the 2nd day when they revealed janhvi's motives. They felt the need to justify her actions or else the trp aunties wouldn't accept this bahu , but in vain.

They used Zain as an eye candy , the guy can emote so well , give him something to do.

To me the Kabeer-Kavya-Vyom angle was disappointing. They rushed with them.

In the last few episodes I was warming up to Kabir Kavya though.

But they successfully butchered both the plots , the revenge and the love story.

If someone knew what went wrong for the show then he or she would have made the highest trp gainer show and all ITV producer would have been seen queuing outside that person's house😁

Trp rating system of ITV itself is wrong😁

All the revamps and leaps are trial and error methods, and nobody can guarantee if it will fetch trps. If they get decent trps then all well and good otherwise another revamp,another revenge😁

BDW is there any ITV show in which there never had been any revenge track🤔

Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, Kabhie To Nazar Milao

Just saw a post in IG that post Kavya's exit, there is gonna be a love story of Kabir and Jhanvi. As much as I wanted to see ShreZain cast opposite each other, in the current scenario of EBSS I would hate that equally. I cannot relate to bhabhi-devar romancing, except if there is a flashback of Jhanvi and Kabir being in love without her knowing he is a Mittal, and then had to marry the elder MIttal son just to take revenge on the family ...I know this does not make any sense but in no other way I guess audience wud accepty Kabir-Jhanvi as a pair. That wud be the last nail in the coffin of EBSS.
