So I came back to I-F today and found the site all updated. I'm still trying to get used to the new layout. Not sure if I like it. All my links are suddenly not working. It may just be because they are polishing up the rough edges...and will have everything straightened out soon. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I think you deserve the whole appreciation your deserve for writing such wonderful stories... Even though late, I read your stories and they're so moving... If Meet were wonderful onscreen you made them look magical in your stories.... They have left such a huge impact...their love story is inspiring, sweet, simple yet deep...❤️

Ishq Bulava will remain close to my heart as it is the first story I've read from yours.... I loved the simplicity behind it and your storyline.... it may sound classic at first but you made this simple story look unique... ❤️

Preet falling in love with his Cinderella.... these 2 fighting against the rules and society to make their love win.... them fighting struggles.... their love for each other made them stand in front of the world.

At some times, yes you've used so many of their references to the show, but I felt a different Meet here.... you gave them the continuation they deserved because we didn't get it in the show... 😭Meet are happy in their own world for us.... and I'm glad you wrote this kind of story.... I feel it gave them the much deserved closure. ❤️

Did Sushant or Meher read this brillant piece? I have no hopes about Sushant lol.... but just to make them realize that their first characters are still remembered after 11 years. 😳

The 2 last chapters made me go over awwwwwww!

Preet caring for Gungun and trying to do all the stuffs commanded RIGHTLY by Wifey.... it was overwhelming to see this Preet's side... he was trying his best at sometimes Gungun made all his efforts go in vain lol! 😆

The last chapter... the reunion WOW! I didn't expect Bauji to accept finally Meher and Preet as Meet... but I guess Gungun's effect worked on him really hard... such a cutie she's!

Preet is a good soul, he forgave his father but I'm sure it wasn't simple for him as both had different views on life and Preet suffered a lot from loosing his mom.... but I guess him being a father changed him and made him look at things differently. Moreover the recognition he has now is much deserved as Meet struggled hard when Bauji decided not to accept them... they were alone...

Hat's off to Premeer and the family for supporting Meet.... they never gave up on them they were here when they needed them.

I wish I could write more Fatima but seriously I'm getting all senti senti right now😭

Thanks Maria for such detailed feedback, and thanks for sticking it out until the very end.

I know I took some lengthy breaks in between.

I know the Cinderella story is nothing new...but I did want to explore Preet's character more in this one. I wanted him to be more grown up and responsible rather than the typical goofy nature we all tend to remember. I also wanted to show a glimpse of what Meet's married life could have been like.

We did see some of it in the show...but after the leap Preet was mostly away on business, and we never really got to see him interact with his own child.

I actually had an idea in mind to have the epilogue end with Meher getting a reluctant Preet ready to meet Gungun's fiance....but then I figured, since Meet just celebrated 10 years of marriage, I should let it rest at that. I'm surprised that my schedule permitted me to carry the FF through so many chapters. I was determined to finish it one way or the other though...so I'll give myself a pat on the back for that.
