She is not an executive producer. She joined as a producer once the finance has been secured. She will hardly invest just like KJo and Anushka. She will mostly do some technical work. I think this is a trade-off for landing her name in the project rather than financial investment.

The producers will have to pay the expenses. He hasn't gone there for a personal reason. He went for promoting the movie. Its logical producer will have to pay for it.

Add:

Producers money is producers money no matter whoever the producer is a wife or a third party. He wouldn't charge anything if this was a family project. this would rather create a conflict of interest.
