Audiences love when lead actor acts this way. This genre did wonders for Sid Malhotra - Ek Villain is his most successful film, and he entered the 100 crore film before Varun and his colleagues. Its also Sid's best performance in his filmography. Plus music is plus too. Shahid is a better actor so we can expect more layered acting. Looks like best actor this year might be between Gully Boy and Kabir

However lets not overreact - A2 and EK had better songs for sure. EVERY SINGLE SONG on these albums were classics. Kabir Singh on the same level but NOT BETTER.

I am planning to watch this with my colleagues! Mainly because the songs are so good.

Since its a remake of a telugu movie here in the telugu states buzz is mixed. Not many r interested but some are curious to see how different shahid played it from Vijay. Bharat had better buzz here.

No buzz amongst family with kids. (Trailer does not look child friendly). So don’t expect a opening of 10 crores.

Songs are popular. So opening may be over 5 crores. Film may pick up later. WOM could be positive as it probably has positive ending (original).

Yes it does. Bharat garnered a huge chunk of its initial collections from hyderabad. And so does many big films.

Yes he does. Hyderabadi's are movie buff's in general and love the khan trio. Their movies do well in the initial weeks all the time. Bajrangi bhaijaan was a rage.. Akshay, Ajay unki itni nahi chalti but Ajay's golmaal n singham series are very popular here.
