Even I loved Pia as a sarpika. Niyati was simply wonderful there. I wanted that track to stretch for at least a little long. But, people love the daivik only.
Karan i believe was just a temporary character.
Although when he came i really wanted him to replace Ansh.
This was the Davansh i wanted all along.
Ruthless cunning , better fighter ... He was everything Ansh wasn't.
Karan might have been a temporary character but he has only turned into a statue. He is not dead. So if the makers want, they can bring him back. But yes, he was simply amazing. The makers have everything to the character of Karan which they did not give to Ansh.
My first pref will always be headstrong brooding Ansh of the first few epis. Along with his hair he lost also his mojo.
Well, even I would prefer that. But with the exception of those long hair. Except for a few episodes, where his hair were properly set, I personally did not like his long haired look.
I mean if had today's Piya or better yet intense sarpika piya with that Ansh. They would have been a dynamic couple & so very badass.

But getting back to the topic do u really believe Ansh wings temporary?

I think so because those wings do not belong to him. If those were the powers of a daayan vanshi, then they could have given Mo those wings too right from the beginning. As it is, since the beginning, they have explained the powers of a daayan and a DV. Karan had got those wings because of his special powers after he was thrown by Mo into patal ketki. So I doubt they would give Ansh those wings permanently. Besides, they have shown Mo and Ansh doing Spiderman stunts on the walls. If he'd have wings, they wouldn't be able to show the wall climbing stuff and all. But, it all depends on the makers.
