Good guy making mistakes versus redeeming a bad guy

Someone explain to me why when a god guy does something wrong he is vile, horrible and irredeemable. People find it difficult to relate and want the female lead to leave him .....

But

People seems to cheer for the good girl going into the life of a vile, irredeemable and horrible older person and try to make him good?

What am I missing and what is it in people that makes this realistic? I get when you have only one option and be whole story is a redemption one.... but what about where there are two options?

Request - please don’t respond to this telling me about something anruag did in year 4 of season 1 or bajaj did in year 5 of season 1. Let’s stick to season 2.That is not the point of this post and it will only make it a battle ground and the thread will get closed. If your reasons for wanting this track are all linked to you love for the season 1 character and the actor who played him and the actor who is playing him now -I get that .... just say season 1 + actor. Ryan Gosling could play a serial killer and I will be all 😍😍😍

It depends on the character .. If the character completely vile and bad , people never cheer for them . but if the character seems grey and the story line seems interesting then people appreciate that .

like in example people never cheered for naveen babu . cos he was completely bad and vile.. n for bajaj still now he might be showing his grey side not completely bad. there is difference...

n in this world , no one is completely saint. some character's grey side glorified , some's not .

good person's dark side means to be mistake, but grey person's dark side means to be vile and irredeemable .

Good character gets chance to refine themselves but grey characters never.. they always bash by all ... N that is the reality

I second you. But let's see if this season is same or not.

I don't think so. Bajju may be grey but will not be negative. But if he turns positive that doesnot make him deserving because anurag has made a mistake

Again since both are flawed, you cannot categorize them as good....so the basis of the question is moot. Anurag, Prerna and Bajaj, all the three are flawed. But Anurag and Prerna are considered good people...why? Because the story has portrayed them as such....so implying Bajaj to be a vile character is completely wrong since he also has family, his daughter whom he loves the most. There maybe more qualities that would be unraveled later on.

another thing i want to mention ofcourse... In this world those who portrays as good max of them never gets chance or situation to be bad.. max of them do not get those opportunities what a grey character gets... then how we could justify them? we dont know the control or limit power of a good guy or how he/she will behave in grey situation ? that is why no one is perfect in this world.. whom seems so perfect , max time those people behave weird in bad situation;

I guess because they stick to their lives and make mistakes but are not one there destroying the lives of other people for sport. Which is what bajaj has been shown to do today.

I guess different people have different definitions of good or bad in their real life.... so I accept that you see no difference in anurag, prerna and Bajaj.

Aren’t you putting words in my mouth! I said a good boy who makes mistakes. Haven’t talked about prerna but she is also shown to be a good girl who makes mistakes. But you can make a caricature of them to prove your point if you wish.
