Our Akash who seems to us like an ideal son takes after his father, Manohar. From this chapter it seems that after her husband’s death, Aarti was in touch with K&A for some business and the two lonely souls Manohar and Aarti must have been drawn to each other. Priya must have taken Manohar’s prized possession, his son Akash, away from him when Mano wanted to be with Aarti.

Priya has come from a social background different from Manohar. She seems to have been in the same circles like Shyam. Indirectly it appears that she must have been involved in Politics. N, You have said that Shyam is more nearer Arnav’s age. I have a feeling that there may have been a lot of age gap between Priya and Manohar. Priya must have found Shyam a bit charming too if she has been running in the same circles socially. Manohar abhorred social functions that Priya seemed to love. Was it this behavior of Priya coupled with her not giving the status of a real husband to Manohar that pushed him into Arti’s arms

From what I understand, Manohar loves all his kids equally. Unfortunately for him, Payal is also like her mom. Looks like she too, like Arnav thinks Manohar only loves Akash. The generation gap between Manohar and his wayward kids and the fact that Priya made her resentment about both Arnav and Payal felt very vehemently, made them shun Manohar. Little do they know that Manohar is bearing all the insults and the misbehavior by his wife and kids to only try and give them a semblance of family atmosphere.

Poor Manohar, for a change, even Khushi started wondering why did Manohar select her for his wayward son rather than Akash, the stoic son whom she held a fascination for.

I have to agree that Manohar is the hero here.

Even though he has his flaws? Manohar loves Arnav undoubtedly.

Manohar has a real and valid reason to hate Shyam. Shyam has been known for his criminal activities and Manohar and Shashi have actually managed to get him punished. What would Shyam do but try and wean away the weakest link, Arnav from right under Manohar’s nose.

Did Shashi have an inkling about Shyam’s planning and is that why he was murdered? Looks like Manohar too feels the same.

Arnav and Khushi do share intimacy. Hope she communicates what bothers her.

Khushi knows what Aman damage he has brought in Arnav's life. It would be interesting to know why Aman is able to influence Arnav so much that he can't accept the reality.

She knows Manohar is a man of principles so hope she trusts his judgement on why he chose Arnav for her. He obviously didn't know what she felt for Akash.

I took a wild guess that Shyam might have something to do with Shashi's death and there might be lack of proofs and it has some connection to Arnav Khushi being married. I was being optimistic that Arnav might be getting on their side to help Khushi. Hope Arnav doesn't ruin himself.

The mystery behind Manohar and Priya getting back together is revealed.

I kinda suspected she must have political connections. There seems to be a lot more to her character than being Arnav's step mom.

I don't know what to make of Akash yet

Payal obviously bonds with Arnav more because both like to live freely. She thinks Arnav understands her so is she seeing Aman?.

I like how every character is interesting yet the story revolves around Arnav Khushi.

Yes they do. Khushi is more vocal about it with Garima.

Akash may not be so vocal before Priya though he brings peace to Manohar's heart.

Before priya Akash may not be much vocal because he may not want her to bring in her emotional drama of having talent care of him whilst Mano was with Arti playing Happy family. Akash has really a tough time balancing things out at home

I don’t think Akash kept quiet cos of the drama. It has to be something else. Probably he is too conscious about his image

This was the thought that was playing on my mind the entire while I was reading the update.

Manohar- loved and lost, not just Aarti but his BFF, Shashi too. He loves his kids and is agonised in return.

WORD. My heart really goes out for that man who has been suffering throughout his life for loving his family.

Akash- He loves his father, or so and seems to be in pain due to the circumstances. He also loves Payal, and yet, is not at peace with her behaviour.

Yes. He has been trying to do right by Payal and also lessen his father's burden.

Khushi- She loved her father and lost him, and she probably almost loved Akash and couldn't have him. She seems to be attracted to Arnav and cant help but think about the pain she will go through when she confronts him.

Yes. Khushi is in a dilemma. Alas she couldn't explore her rwal feelings for Akash abs before that her heart was drawn towards Arnav as if the lightening had struck. That which was going to burn both her and Arnav before they realise the reality of their surroundings and also their feelings .

Payal- She loves Arnav but cant be with him, for reasons unknown. She seems to love someone, but is keeping it a secret, why??

EC I think Payal loves her bro Arnav more than Akash because she feels Arnav gives her freedom that Akash doesn't . Though I feel it could or isnt Aman whom she loves or fancies, is she doing this out of rebellion towards her father?

Arnav- My heart goes out to him. He loved his father, and didnt get time with him. He loved his mother and lost her. He cannot see the love Manohar has for him. And in all probability, Khushi's love will break him.

@ Green - Word. Maybe this will finally make him understand who is his real foe.

What a fab display of emotions and relationships, N. You and only you could have done justice to this chapter.

I am torn between believing Akash and crucifying Aman, but, I will hold on.

Loved what you write EC.

This entire chapter was based on Love. Love which had different connotations for each person. The crux of love was Pain which you brough out beautifully.

Akash seems too good to be true but I feel Aman is grey but maybe he us also hoodwinked by Shyam to trap Arnav?

Am not familiar with the songs , EC. Will surely listen and come back.

I thought hr didnt want to take Mani side in front of Priya but wanted to support him silently.

Hmmn yes but I feel Oriya never really loved Manohar. She must have resented him leaving her the rich pampered princess for a simpleton like Arti

Shashi had been with Manohar. He may have had ab inkling that Shtam was involved in Arti's murder and hence Shyam may have wanted him out of the way. He must have done both Arti n Shashi. Why ever Arnav's own father too, possibly.

We can keep on guessing till N shuts us with the reality of events

I would like to start this comment by saying, a person whether it is a male or a female, after reaching a certain age, needs to take responsibility for their own life and actions.

Manohar married Aarti. Obviously he got separated from Priya before marrying Aarti. It looks like Priya got sole custody of Aakash. As a father, did Manohar, try for custody (joint or sole) of Aakash at all?

What made Aakash respect Manohar? or has he got an agenda behind this facade?

Aarti entrusted Arnav to Manohar before she passed away. She had her own trust and respect for Manohar. I wonder, why Arnav can's see it before holding Manohar responsible for her mother's death?

Priya is from an affluent family and not really fond of middle class people. Was it Manohar's success in his profession, which made her attracted to him? Did anyone influence Manohar's marriage with Priya? He was never happy in that marriage.

As any 21 year olds, Payal does not like to be reminded of her responsibilities. She thinks she knows what is good for her. Is Aakash doing any favour by lying for her? Coming to her secret boy friend, I am not sure about Aman's financial status. Payal does not like middle class people. So, I am thinking it could be either Shyam or a new person.

Arnav was in to women and drugs. May be Shyam saved him from trouble few times and told Arnav that he was falsely accused by Manohar and yet, he has no issues looking out for Arnav.

That will surely bring Arnav close to Shyam.

For first time around, was Arnav going to choose Shyam over Khushi forcing Khushi to leave him?
