Who said other industries do not make songs for all kind of moods and genre. Rock & Roll, Pop trend was started by the West. All countries have their own classical music version. So if not listening songs from other music industries or have no knowledge easy to say they do not have classic.

Can be proud of the hindi music without degrading other language music industries. Besides BW is famous for stealing music and lift entire songs from other industries , do not know if they buy the loyalty or just use the music without permission. There are plenty of videos available on youtube.

The one dissing Kpop, even their songs and tune has been copied by BW industry.

OT, Sucker song is good, first time i have heard these bros, after a long time all brother band has came there was one with Micheal Jackson and his bros in the 1970's called "Jackson Five"

The movies we produce have amazing songs, even the flop movie like SOTY2 has a beautiful song like Fakira. We've used Sanskrit in Dhivara song , Rajasthan folk song in Ghoomar and AR rahman's all telugu, tamil and hindi music are just out of the world.

Taal, Arya2 , Guru, all SLB movies , Shankar mo vies are filled with some great music. I watched this movie called Anji (fantasy) in Telugu and its music is just wow. We have been producing good music since 1950s.

Kpop is a hit because they have gone the american way. Their dance formations are good but I never saw anything artistic in them like i see in Indian music. A bunch of pretty boys does nothing to me.

Sound of gungroo and rain in Taal movie is goosebumps inducing and it's way more superior to all Kpop industry together.

K pop is more tabloid type of music if you know what I mean. In the west Indian classical musicians attract huge crowds and charge heft fees. And even western classical. ..an Einaudi or Mertens any day over some manufactured band.

They'd never seek the easy way out since they've been through so many struggles and hardships to reach the top. Ahh I'm already bummed about it... just hope all of them serve together rather than going one by one

Ps. talking about BTS is one of my favourite things to do in life. I just love them so much! 😆

They surely will, even if they get exempted from the military (which I doubt, considering the backlash the government will face from other groups' stans, including the older generations). Military service is considered a matter of great honour in their country, and people who try to skirt away from serving are looked down upon by the general public. Even if a couple of members are secretly unwilling, they would serve nevertheless, in order to gain a favourable public opinion.

I wish that could have happened, but it seems unlikely from a marketing perspective, that BigHit will let everyone enlist together. We'll probably see Jin and Yoongi go first with very little gap in between, while the rest will probably be grouped into subunits, or do acting projects (Taehyung).

I'm pleasantly surprised there are fellow BTS stans in the BW forum. It brought me back from my hiatus. 😆

I find many K-pop songs to be derived from the idol's own life experiences.. that's what I love the most about them..like BTS have written songs about their struggles, depression which instantly create a connection..also there are songs about loneliness because an idol can't date anyone or songs written in appreciation for their fans support. I find it unique. This is mostly the boy groups though. The girl groups have different concepts.

I wouldn't say anime but Kpop is heavily inspired from Jpop. The trend of idols started with groups like Arashi, SMAP etc and Lee Soo Man copied that concept to create groups like H.O.T, Shinwa etc and other idol groups followed. I think Jpop has lot more variety but they don't try to cater to Western audience so it's not as popular as Kpop(they don't upload their music videos in YouTube).

Bollywood Music used to be good, now 85% of the releases are remakes or just music with crappy lyrics. Plus music in India is dependent on movies unlike every other country where music is popular because of singers or bands.

I think it depends on how much the idol gets to have creative input on the making of songs. BigHit lets BTS give significant creative input to the songs lyrics, stage outfits etc. Hence, BTS are able to write about their struggles, depression which I appreciate. A lot of girl groups don't get to have as much creative input in the making of the songs. Hence, the difference. It usually depends on the company managing them. I like BlackPink and Girls Generation from the girl groups.

I thought nobody knew BTS here 😆 Tbh I'm not a kpop fan but discovered BTS accidentally in 2017 thanks to American Music Awards & I've been a fan ever since. Funniest thing is my dad knew about them before I did 😆

Your English and foreign taste doesn't match my traditional taste. Every year we produce so much good music and we still keep making fun that they are copied. Yup Kalank's first class song is copied and it's beneath sucker song and Kpop. Fakira, hookup song, Kalank, jatt ludiyanedi , rowdy baby (Tamil), Maate vinadu ga (Telugu- Taxiwala).

I want to know how many beautiful songs Hollywood and KPop has produced this year.

Even Salman khan's Bharat songs would be way better than kpop and English songs of this year.

Japanese animes have better songs than kpop. They are creative and heart touching.

I don't see the hype in K-pop.

Hollywood music is usually good but if Sucker is the best they have produced this year . Sorry, Dharma productions tries much harder.😎
