I m a Maharashtrian brahmin, supposed to be pure vegetarian but I love certain non veg things. Nobody has spoiled me, nor I was in a need to eat non veg, I did that out of my own choice n curiosity to taste everything. But if u ask me to cook non veg, I might puke or I might not ever eat it again. I m good with it until I don't see the raw flesh. Even after eating non veg, if someone gives a raw fish in my hand uninformed, I might throw the plate as well. If someone who isn't much sensitive about eating non veg can have this reaction, I can totally understand veena's too. Also, it's like how pre would throw a cockroach on her hand, it need not be about veg non-veg also, it's about how comfortable u r with animals near u, dead or alive. I toh shoo away a cute puppy also, I can't stand any animal near me.

Had mohini already informed her about this, I wouldn't have sided with veena. Also, for that matter, I know anything non veg, for eating or for whatever reasons, is strictly banned during any auspicious occasion for us n we do follow that even if we eat non veg otherwise. But at the same time, fish is auspicious for Bengalis. So idk who should give up on their tradition😂 maybe they can mutually decide.

N if there's anything about breaking rishta, I m sure veena wouldn't break any rishta just for the sake of fish thing. Mohini will create a bigger issue out of it n that will trigger veena to say that.

Anyways, let's see when this airs in the episodes. N this is just a show, so let's avoid letting anything out of it hurt our emotional or religious sentiments. Like abhiya mentioned, what was shown in yhm was very wrong according to the south Indians, but since I have zero knowledge about south Indian traditions, I quite enjoyed whatever they used to show, in fact loved how they tried to blend both the cultures n celebrate everything together. The point is, if u stay ignorant, u can enjoy it. So even if we know what's right n what's wrong, just let that be. If we can ignore their mess up with laws n sciences, cultures toh theek hi hai😂

I strongly believe, any cultures or traditions were originally made only for the happiness of the community. Anything that makes u happy should be celebrated the way u please and if any custom makes u sad or it is exhausting or whatever, it shouldn't be followed just for the sake of it. So I liked whatever fusion customs they created in yhm because it after all gave happiness to both the families n they could celebrate the day. Well, that can't happen in kzk cuz mohini is doing all this only for drama n with not so happy intentions, so I stand with veena in this.

Well, that's just my pov, sorry if it hurts anyone's religious sentiments
