When you move into incidents such as this fish one - the objective of the scene is to keep everyone confused about what to feel.

Each of us and the audience in general comes from different back grounds - some more traditional than other. Some who experience being in constant conflict with their MIL and other who have no clue what that means.

Every character always ends up looking slightly bad to a portion of the audience after a scene like that. And Mohini will keep creating these scenes. So get reads folks.

The fish wasnt on the thali.. it was inside the jewellery box giving the necklace company..

Like suta said, veena should be aware of that.

But being aware and actually seeing fish is different,i guess.

But let me aks, for vegetarians, only eating is forbidden right, are they forbidden from being close to raw meat too.

hey mily! I am a pure vegetarian and yess we don't eat meat so being close to it is out of the question but we are and should be sensible enough to take it easy as we all go to restaurants and parties where meat and veggies are cooked side by side or even in same utensils so its not that much of a big deal but here as they are showing prerna is from Sharma family and in sharmas presence of raw meat during their rituals especially is a big no no so veena's reaction to it is justified.

No no, however the custom is, jewellary n fish won't be kept together. No one going to wear raw fish smelling jewellary.😆

But one thing I hv noticed from my brahmin friends they don't even prefer to see meat. They don't enter McDonald's or any non veg restuarant by default.

Mohini is wrong.. Becz at least she should inform veena maa what exsctly is there and explain the ritual..

But mohini just used to create drama.. 😆

And as usual anu wont be able to see that his mother deliberately did it..🤔

Agreed,

But just saying, isn't fish considered auspicious for Bengalis, but since the shagun is specifically given to sharmas, mohini should have avoided it.
