If you have time and resources best option for your new born and your monthly periods is to use organic cloth as napkins, no doubt they are high maintaince but synthetic nappies and pads are a big evil contrary to what @mrsfunnybones promotes.

You don't need a medical degree for this. This has become basic knowledge now.

And she is kind of right. Synthetic pads/diapers contain chemicals and toxins, hazardous to skin, and environment also. But using cloth is a big nuisance especially if you are a working woman.

Anyway, nowadays there are pads/diapers made with organic cotton. Don't know why she is bringing it up now and tagging Twinkle, just to grab some attention I guess or because she produced PadMan?

She is right here . Bio degradable pads is another option. Synthetic pads is not good for the women .

Cloth is an option.

Nowadays menstural cups are a big yes in the USA where more and more have stopped using pads and are going for cups where menstural blood is collected send disposed when full.

She tagged twinkle coz she was highlighting some synthetic pad brand ( I guess)
