I suppose so! But we can limit it to only avatars. I know you're trying to minimize the loading time and that would happen when the contents of the page are smaller in size. But, IF looks very bland without gif avatars.

Previously we had the choice to show/not show avatars in the settings option. For those who don't want to see gifs, can take that option.

For signatures, we can stick to png and jpg files. Earlier, people used to add massive gif files to their signatures which made the site very slow.

Thank you for understanding the problem and with the new site we didn't want to go back to those slow loading times.

Since 75% of our audience comes through Mobile device we have to ensure they get a good experience.

But i only add Animated gif in my Signatures no png or jpg :\

Adding only pic in Signature, is useless for me

Avater size will only be 100 by 100? I used to have 217 by 391 avatar😔

Why can't I simply post link to a tweet or an Insta post instead of embedding it??

I tried using insert link but it still is not working!!!!

but at least allow longer/larger gifs on desktop/pc

also please do not ban use of large-sized gifs in signature box I loved them😒

Why is it always embedding the tweet or post??

A few days back if we just posted the link it embedded but if we used insert link then we could post a link!!!!

Why isn't that option working anymore??

they should be given an option to turn off avs and sigs then instead of limiting all users

For YT, Twittter,Insta and FB it embed automatically. others url link from sites ,will only show as a text link.

BTW m.twitter wont embed

Sometimes I want to post the link and there should be an option to do that using insert a link!!!!

Even the URL forum code is not working!!!

Twitter is unfortunately embedding even when I am trying hard to post a link!!!!

I want to embed sometimes and sometimes I want to post a link!!!! I made it work using insert a link but now it is not working!!!

Why was something which was working now not working??
