Very nice synopsis.
There are certain things that has bothered me beyond this episode – don’t know how you folks feel about it. When there is Rakesh/Anand’s own Bua (Phulla Bua) and her family are in Mumbai, why on earth did Anand seek for Preeti’s Saas’s help. I thought they were the kind of family who hesitated to seek for daughter’s sasural’s help, that too so early on in daughter’s marriage into the family. Besides Phulla Bua is supposed to be their own Bua who flew in for all their weddings all the way to Ahmedabad.
Secondly timeline is so off – Shubam was telling Preeti to pick a big box this time unlike the last time. I was think were they even married at the last Christmas party.
Thirdly so much Maska, especially to Nirmala aunty to get permission to join acting class. Given that the money is still Sameer’s which he gained from his mom’s side, I would have preferred at least some form of permission from Sameer’s mom. The way in which Sameer’s relationship with his mother has been marginalized after his marriage to Naina is ridiculous. His entire emotional insecurity and anger is directly proportional with that fact that he felt sidelined in his mother’s life after her second marriage. I thought moving forward Naina would help bridge the differences but it seems Nirmala Auntij’s role in his life is more important. I have left to my assumption that Naina has still been calling Viskhaka every Monday, even if it is just from PCO.
The post marriage version of romance is all good and the chocolate sequence was swell but when Rakesh papa was busy downstairs, they could have run off upstairs to make out rather than their nukkad rendezvous.
I am liking all the Mumbai characters but I finding too many errors in the story. The storyline lacks the fluidity that it had in the early episodes and has glaring loopholes. I wish the concrete storyline of the actual struggle begins soon.
