Yeah blouse was not wprn with saree in Bengal, many village widows still don't. But I do think it existed in some form, atleast in areas like Rajasthan Gujarat etc? Cz their traditional dress was ghagra choli no? N choli is blouse. Every culture has invented blouse in their own way. Maybe Brits brought a new style n more stitched up pattern. They anyways destroyed a lot of Industry here n claimed stuffs as their own .
In Kerala women used to go top less and it's not to say that they wrapped their saree around the shoulder or something like in Bengal.
They used to actually go top less and Wear a mundu just like men.
I've also read that back in the day there was a strict dress code for temples. Like they have even today in Kerala temples but more so. Everyone was supposed to wear a single piece of unstitched cloth.
Marco polo had come to Kerala and he wrote that there's not a single tailor to be found anywhere. Even the king wore just a mundu though he was adorned with some million dollar worth jewels. Indians didn't give a f about fashion and accessories. Life was very practical and functional....and no consumerist or materialistic culture.
K hair jo bhi ho. .....priyanka is looking cheap and crass with zero class. She always looks like cheap and wannabe even when she wears couture. That's just how it is.
Ask a 4 yr old child and they'll say wannabe word best describes her. Even after being among the top actresses in India at 1 time albeit when competition was likes of Pretty, kareena and Katrina. Wannabe she'll always be.
blouse is there since later Vedic period . akhand bharat is rich in riches n rich Vedic culture n civilisation . rich n developed , tats y world eyed on golden bharat n world trade n invaders . actually here it looked superior in all things n theirs inferior ,destroyed vedas n tried to erase d culture n civilisation n took d treasures of culture n civilisation n tried to show it as theirs n d superiors as inferiors by planting social evils n looted n conversions n showed as they given dis n dat by distorting history n brainwashing n all to cover their shit lol .
I like it! And she actually looks brown in the photoshoot....so awesome
Some ppl like Anushka make everything they wear effortlessly chic, PC makes everything look effortlessly cheap.
Made my day.
Made my day.
Seriously? That’s so sad. Lol
Wow, I must say I am highly impressed with Jennifer Lopez in a sari. She looks stunning in her 50's, even more beautiful than overrated...
