TERRIFIC LINES - The dialogue appreciation thread

So,

Enough has been said about the shortcomings of the show. Time to focus on the good things. And I'll start with the writing. The writers come with some terrific lines for the awesome cast!

So use this thread to pen down the dialogues you enjoyed from the episode and as appreciation for the writers

I'll start with the recent episodes.

This one I'll remember for a long time, "wife Saathi Hoti hai, jo har kadam pe aapke saath chalthi hai, koi bhed Bakri nahin jise jis raste pe le jao, chal padthi hai," - Abir to his mom on how a wife should be treated

"Aapke shubh haato se..." "Mere shubh haato se chaanta marun" - Rangeela nanu to Abir. :D

"Aap toh aapke pita ki beti hai, aur AAP dikhayi bhi de Rahi hai, aur sunayi bhi" vishambar to Meenu shattering society's norms on women, ladkiwaale being submissive to ladkewaale, and setting an example on how fathers should be.

I loved this one

All the dialogues you mentioned at the top are my fav from recent episodes too. Esp one where Abir is confronting his mum. That was superb.

My another absolute favourite from last week is- Mishtis dialogue ‘Humesha Trust karna ek ladki ki zimmedari kyun hoti hain Kunal?’

‘Past hum dono ka tha, Fark sirf ye hain ki tumhare past mein pyar tha Aur mere past mein Nafrat’

Bade papas- ‘Apko dukh iss bat ka nahi ki rishta toota, apko dukh is bat ka hain ki rishta meri beti ne toda’

Abirs- ‘Jitne bhi rules hain jitne bhi asul hai sab dusro ki ghar ki beti k liye, hunari ghar ke beti ke liye kuch rules nahi hain’

‘Nanko mishti ko history banana chahta hain aur mein future. Nanko mishti ki shakal bhi dekhna nahi chahta hain aur mein sirft Mishti kondekhna chahta hoon’

Oh I have a pitara of lines that I like..

Ghar vo hota hai jaha takleef ek Ko ho to Dard sabko hota hai..vo nhi jaha sab akele akele apni apni takleef me jite rehte hain

Zindagi hmesha mushkil hi Rehti hai..Hume thoda strong banke Rehna chahiye

Yeh ladki gehre Dard me bhi hasne ka tareeka janti hai

Dikha de ki tu bada Ho Gaya hai.. problems face kar Sakta hai..move on kar Sakta hai...

Life mein Aisa hi hai..jab hum upar as jaate hain to problems choti lagne lagti hai

Saare superheros Cape me nhi aate..kuch kuch salvar kameez pehenkar chasma lagake b aate Hain

All mishti's tun ...ho ..ho..ho..to ...kyu krte ho specially sailf Ali Khan ho to itna wowwww Kyun kiye haa the ho

Nani's gadhedo to Abir🤣...I am a Gujarati and even my grandfather calls my brother gadhedo...it's a common Gujarati thing

Kya kami hai mere Atul mein..garba competition me 3 Baar Jita h....meanu: theek hai ladki vale ayenge aur puchenge k ladka kya karta hai to hum unhe ye certificates dikhayenge

Abir's Rajkot me bullet train when he sees mishti for the first time on cycle

Ladkiyan aajkal har feild me aage Nikal Rahi hai🤣...when he sees mishti in chorni getup

Benba kya mast English bolti hai...the A the B the C...Nidhi is a cutie

Bade papa's kal ki takleef ke baare kal sochenge pehle aaj ki khushiyon se to mil le....

And many many more which I will write as I remember...must say script writers are amazing

What I like most is that lines are SIMPLE and hence very effective. It's not complex, grand sounding stuff but stuff that we wud actually say when we are talking to ppl. Make sit all very natural.

And Nanu's telling ABir that he does not need to come back for himself but bcos the rishta is WRONG for K-M- that bit I loved.
