Dil Ko Sukoon wala episode!
Cuteness overloaded. This is what makes this season different from the previous one. I used to watch season 1 as a kid, and from what I remember, they clearly showed how Prerna and mr. Bajaj were in love but zabardasti ghusaoed Anurag into their story. It never once occurred to me at that time that Prerna 1.0 truly loved Anurag 1.0.
But this is a different Prerna and a different Anurag. Their love grew like everybody else's, on a slow simmer. But now their love is something most people can only dream of having. Kudos to the leads to have kept this undercurrent of strong love for each other come what may, even with the writer's stupid inconsistencies. And this is what keeps getting me back to this Ekta maiya show! (Unbelievable)
Again, I have come to terms that TRPs are ultimately what matter on Indian television. No amount of cribbing is going to change that overnight. But somehow, one thing I have noticed in maybe the last one year, how trp aunties (my Mom and mom-in-law being ones) are loving an outspoken female lead who won't take insults or injustice with a silent sobbing worried face all the time. Almost all female leads on TV have this permanent look of worry etched onto their faces which annoys the hell out of me. Prerna's full faced smile, determined grit, and occasional confusion are like a fresh breath of air. Request to the makers to please never change this.
Coming to the next track. I hope they show Prerna getting into a job before getting trapped by Bajaj. About Anurag, I think they have successfully whitewashed the character.🤣 As many others have already said, Anurag is one the most unique male leads, he's not the angry young ruthless businessman nor is he someone who plays second fiddle to the female lead. Both of them together is the only thing that makes this show watchable. I hope this is continued with the addition of Bajaj as the tadka. Because ultimately drama toh banta hai boss!
