It's been two weeks. Two weeks since Mishti had started working here, Two weeks since she hasn't spoken to him anything other than good morning, good evening, have a good day, yes sir and no sir. Two weeks since he'd been watching that sucker,Merchant flirt with her, and she laugh at his stupid jokes!! Two weeks since she was calling him Mr Rajvanshi and him Neil..!!
He wanted to break his aristocratic, ugly nose when he winked at her and flashed his teeth in big toothy, ugly grin! Come to think of it, he wanted to knock his teeth off and make him toothless too, that'll serve the prick right! Ruhaan imagined how Mr magnificent Merchant would look grinning when he'll have no teeth to show off, and took satisfaction in the fact that he'd indeed look like a joker and Mishti will never be impressed with him again, the thought brought some relief to him and he smiled wickedly.
"Something funny, Mr Rajvanshi?" Asked Mishti, who was taking some files from the folder.
"Nothing, I was thinking about the party we're throwing this evening" he lied, for he highly doubted that she'd appreciate his unholy and rather violent imagination.
"YOU MUSTN'T TELL LIES, RUHAAN" he heard the same voice again, he supposed he was going crazy,literally! He kept hearing this voice, as if it came from above him, he looked at the ceiling. Nope, nothing there!!
"Will you shut up!!" He snapped, gritting his teeth
"I didn't say anything" Mishti glared at him, he gulped and said
"Not you baby, I was just talking to myself" he smiled at her innocently but she glared again
"Don't call me that, Mr Rajvanshi" well, great!!
"Sorry" he lied again, for he wasn't sorry. At all.
"YOU MUSTN'T...." I know damn it!! Just shut up!
"YOU MUSTN'T CURSE EITHER" Okay, I won't, just get lost! Finally the voice ceased to exist and he took a sigh of relief.
"So everything ready for the party?" He asked carefully
"Yes sir, everything is ready, I've rechecked all the arrangements myself" she replied indifferently. He yearned to see his old Mishti, his bubbly, chirpy, chatty Mishti. His cute Mishti who'd make a moustache while eating ice cream, his Mishti who wore ridiculous shooes at work, yet, managed to look the sexiest, most beautiful girl in the world. His Mishti, who looked at him adorably and smiled at everything he said. His Mishti who'll amaze him with her sarcasm and gave him just as good as she got. His Mishti, who melt in his arms like ice and returned his kiss like fire. His Mishti who became breathless just by his simple touch. His Mishti who'd call him Ruhaan and have him call her Mishti. He wanted that Mishti back, he was dying to have that Mishti back. Sometimes he feared if it was too late and if he'll ever have that Mishti again, but then he'd tell himself that no matter what happens; he will bring her back, he will make her the way she used to be, for if it didn't happen, he didn't know what he'll do, he didn't know if he was even able to live without that hope, so he kept hoping. Hoping and........praying. Yes, he prayed, he who had never asked God anything, was now praying for this girl. This stupid, cute, beautiful girl, who was his life now. The sole reason for his living. He wanted her back. Period!
"If that's all then I'd like to take a leave now, I've to go to the hotel and check if everything is in order....it's already 5:10 and the party starts at 8 so I had better leave now" she said hurriedly as if she was so desperate to get away from him, it sliced his already wounded heart.
"I'm going there too, I'll drop you"
"No need, she's going with me" speak of the devil..!! That sucker Merchant came in his paradise to cantaminate it with his virus!! He clenched his fist, that were itching to do his earlier bidding, but he refrained them from doing so, as Mishti was there and she'd hate him even more if he turned violent before her. Well, damn!
"No she isn't. She's MY secretary and hence going with ME" he managed to say with his jaw tightly shut and his fists itching to knock that bloody, ugly grin off his ugly face!!
"Is that so? But aren't you the boss, dear Ruhaan? Shouldn't you attend the delegates first? Well, you shall be able to do that only of you go and receive them yourself at the airport..... Which will...." He looked at his watch "take you about.....two hours, give and take....and going with Mishti then making a drive at airport will take you.....about three hours.....so...the ball is in your court buddy" the ugly prick had the nerve to wink at him!! He gritted his teeth as the sucker took Mishti's arm and led her outside, draping his hand around her shoulder.
No, he wanted to break his hand first and make him a limp, that will serve him right! Then he'll break his nose and knock his teeth off and the ugly prick would be the ugliest creature alive!! His imagination cooled Ruhaan's anger down a little, but only a little!

When Ruhaan finally reached the party venue with his foreign delegates, his eyes immediately started looking for Mishti, he looked everywhere.... And he found her; coming down the stairs. He couldn't breath.....she looked......ethereal. The full length black, silk gown she wore was hugging every curve of her body and was like a second skin to her......she looked exquisite, ravishing. He could size up her breasts from this distance. She had left her long silky hair open and had brought them all in one side of her shoulder, it was giving him the full view of the one side of her delicious doe like neck. Her skin was milky white and the black gown was making it look even more lovely and irresistibly appealing to him.....he could see a vein there and wanted to suck that until she sobbed with need in his arms. He wanted to lick every part of her, she was his dessert for tonight. He swallowed hard....trying to calm himself a little. He was fully aroused and was thankful for his suit jacked that it was hiding the evidence from everyone else.
EVERYONE ELSE!! as if coming out of trance he looked around and found everyone looking at the goddess descending the stairs, women with disguised envy and men with not so disguised desire!! He wanted to blind fold those sleazy suckers who dared to look at HIS Mishti. He wanted to go to her and drape his jacket around her and hide her from those prying eyes, but he doubted she'd appreciate it, if anything, she'd take his jacket and suffocate him with it and he didn't want to die a breathless suffocating death! But he had to do something, damn it!!
Suddenly she looked in his direction and smiled.....her beautiful dazzling smile, that always managed to take his breath away, he started to smile back at her then he saw that she wasn't looking at him, he frowned and looked behind. And there he was!! The ugliest creature alive, Neil f*****g Merchant! He looked back at Mishti and turned out she was smiling not at him but that f*****g Merchant!! It was final now, today was the last day of his life!!
