This is what's happens in courts as well. If you make an allegation against someone, you are expected to show up on hearings. How else is the court supposed to go forward with proceedings.

This is a tough situation. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

^^ Still should not have reinstated him. It is going to be a bad look for the film and unnecessary controversy.

His guilt has in no way been proven but it has not been disproved either.

Responding to this, Bahl's lawyer said:

“It is not that easy to walk away from things. She is thinking only about her life, she isn’t thinking that my image will be maligned. Now, the plaintiff (Bahl) is in a position where it would be impossible to establish that the claims were malicious. It is not enough for the victim to make these assertions to the defendants (Kashyap and Motwane), the press and then be asked to left alone.”

It has nothing to do with industry support as she is neither any actress or anything. Infact, she has all the support from Anurag Kashyap who seems to be misusing her big time as revealed by the strongly worded defamation case against him. He did not even bother to make her work with Vikas again in a project even after the alleged incident. So, that shows that his conduct has been fishy in the whole thing.

Legal notice reads, “You are neither a witness nor the alleged victim, but instead an opportunist seeking to derive benefit based on unsubstantiated information. The alleged incident has not been established in any court of law and that you have exploited the media to propagate your own personal vendetta.”
